We have traveled the small towns of America by motorcycle over the last 6+ years and over 60,000 miles. We came upon Blue Magnolia Bread Co passing through Saltillo in late May of this year.
In all our travels, Blue Magnolia is one of the best and most unique places we have experienced.

Excellent food (we had a sandwich and a skone). The skone was unique and one of the best we have ever eaten.

The ambience of the restaurant both downstairs and upstairs is incredible. I spoke with the owner to express how wonderful her place was and she and the folks helping were extremely pleasant.

You will not be disappointed going to this gem!

What a wonderful place. Atmosphere is amazing. Coffee ☕️ and Books . Bread , Cookies , and other is a must for anyone who loves coffee and books. Books are free take one and bring it back when you’re done. Don’t forget to go upstairs, that’s the best part. Enjoy

Saltillo has quite a gem on its hands!

Stopped by for a cinnamon roll, jalapeño bagel, and an iced latte and each item was fantastic. The staff were so friendly and inviting, taking the time to explain the menu and go over the available options in the bakery case. This could easily be my new go to coffee or lunch spot in town.

I’ve since had two lattes from here, a sugar cookie iced latte and an iced mocha latte and both were strong and the coffee flavor was consistent- it’s brewed fresh straight from the espresso machine at the front of the cafe! A great pick for my coffee lovers out there.

I can’t wait to try their lunch specials and snag a sourdough loaf if I’m lucky next time!

This by far the best place to stop for coffee & breakfast or lunch. They have so many treats to choose from, and their coffee is top tier. It’s great to grab a quick bite to go, but it’s even better to stay a while & wander upstairs and check out their huge collection of books that you can take home for FREE. This place is truly a gem tucked away in the heart of downtown Saltillo. I wish I could give them 10 stars.

What an amazing coffee find. It was our first time to Mississippi, and this place was on acute strip the owners you could tell really cared about the food and the coffee. The scones were absolutely delicious. I loved the little books and the little nooks where you can sit and talk. Just a great little find on a cute little strip with a general store next-door and an antique shop across the way.

Visiting from out of state and went for a run on the tanglefoot trail. Both times running by this front door, I saw people coming and going and standing inside so I figured these people must know something!
People behind the counter were sweet and no one waiting minded the wait. They were selling out of items in real time which seemed to stress them out but was also heartwarming to watch. Pretty cool to see a local business loved so much that they sell out of items and all the customers were smiling and understanding the whole time.
I got a black coffee and avocado toast. It wasn’t fast but who cares! Definitely will be back next time I visit.
Realizing now I left this review for a different location apparently? I was talking about a location in new Albany.

This is a great little bakery/coffee shop. I came on a Saturday morning around 9:30. The service was fairly fast and the atmosphere is nice for such a small town spot. I ordered a basic cup of coffee and avocado toast. The coffee was $1.85 and the toast for two slices of fresh made sourdough made in house was $2.50. They were very busy after I had been there about 20 minutes. I would suggest charging at least $2.50 for the coffee and $5.00 for the toast. A fried egg on top of the toast would have been a great option. Overall 10/10!

My daughter Denise took me to this restaurant on opening day. The bagels are amazing and I enjoyed the atmosphere. They have a quiet little area upstairs. You got to try it, you won’t be disappointed.

New Albany location always has the friendliest service. The white chocolate raspberry scone is excellent.
