Really great noodles with good portions and price too!

On the second floor, there is a great view of the street as well as a nicely decorated seating and bar area. The Khao Poon, rice noodles in a red curry, was nice with good flavor. It was pretty empty when I went so service and food came out fast. Would comeback to try some of their specials and other Laotian dishes!

Had brunch here with friends and really enjoyed it! The pork neck was tender and flavorful, the tom yum soup was rich and tangy, and the fried rice was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, perfect for a casual meal. Friendly service and great food overall — highly recommend this place if you love authentic Thai flavors.

One of my favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh. They actually have Lao food that is so hard to find. Having a Lao family, I was very happy to find this restaurant.

Their papaya salad is amazing. If you are not sure what Lao food looks like, go for Papaya salad combo!

Among main dishes, I personally like their Tilapia with pineapple sauce and Mee Kathi. For appetizer, both Ping Kai and Grilled pork shoulder (with sticky rice) are good.

I wish there is more sticky rice options. The sticky rice come with food is not usually enough. (And I miss their wooden rice container. Now they may not provide rice in it anymore).

To go to this restaurant, you need to climb up stairs.

Park at Forbes-Shady paid parking lot. Sunday is free for parking.

The reason why I don’t give five stars is because I wish they work on hygiene more.

I really enjoyed their food.

The service could be better at times, but overall it was a good experience. It’s also a nice spot for a gathering of 6–8 people, as their seating is flexible for larger groups.

The bathroom is spacious.

First time back since the rebrand from Bangkok Balcony. Fun, colorful murals and artwork on the walls with a nice view of the busy street below. Visited on a Sunday afternoon and we were seated immediately. The chicken in the papaya combo (Ping Kai and Thom Som) was perfectly cooked and tender. The papaya salad was the perfect combo of spicy and sour to accompany it.

I cannot overstate how fantastic this place is. Went on a rainy Thursday night and it was cozy but not crowded. The upstairs dining room with a big street-facing window was certainly the main architectural feature, but they also had super cool art and decor.

The food was spectacular. Order it spicy; they give you a 1-10 scale and we ordered 7, but I’d go higher. My partner called the tofu “chicken light” and it really was!! So yummy but didn’t feel like you were missing any meat. The wide noodles may be the best I’ve ever had!

I have never had Laotian food before and it was delicious! I wish the heat level went a bit higher. I ordered a 10 and it was mild. Maybe they gave me a lower level assuming I couldn’t handle the 10 (out of 10). Idk ‍♂️

Service needs to be worked on. Took ages for someone to take our order. Luckily the food is phenomenal when it eventually came out.

Garlic noodles were outstanding according to my brother. The chicken was crispy, noodles were flavorful and had some heat. I ordered the catfish mok. I wanted to out of my comfort zone and wasn’t disappointed. As stated before, I wish it had more heat but the mix of red curry and steamed fish that fell apart when you put your fork through was heaven

Definitely check this place out!

In summers its suffocatingly hot and very cold inside in winters. Service is poor. Tables are sticky. For delivery i got hair in food. They asked me to come back to return to the food when the temp is -4 F and a snowstorm.

Came here for lunch with my partner. We shared a Yaw Tawd for starters and it was quite decent but the iced coffee I got was wayyy too sweet. Same for my partners iced tea so we both ended up pouring in lots of water. Anyway as main we shared the garlic noodles with fried chicken and the boat noodle soup. The soup was rly good and flavorful but the garlic noodles were actly terrible – very sweet and just soso badly overcooked. The fried chicken was okay although too much breading. Service was okay.
