Dessert (pictured) was rich and big enough to share.
Always a fun place to visit with heated outside dining options.
Wow!
The magic started right at the door with Elena, the sweetest hostess who remembered it was my birthday and showed us a few different table options so we could pick our vibe. Such a thoughtful touch, and it instantly made the night feel special.
Then came Garret, our server — and wow. He was incredibly attentive, knew the menu inside and out, and made everything feel effortless and fun. We kicked things off with the Topsail oysters (so fresh, so good), then dove into two unforgettable entrées: lamb over couscous and salmon over a butternut squash purée. Every bite was next-level delicious.
The atmosphere? Absolutely beautiful. Cozy and stylish, with jazz playing in the back and a garden that Garret suggested we explore while waiting for our food — such a cool touch that made the experience feel even more unique.
And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, the manager came by with a handwritten birthday card to wish me happy birthday. It was such a personal, thoughtful moment that made the night unforgettable.
We literally woke up the next morning still talking about it and already wanting to go back. Kipos is more than just a restaurant — it’s a full-on experience, and we can’t recommend it enough.
I had octopus for the first time and it was amazing, with a garnish almost too pretty to eat. The short rib was so tender and full of flavor, and the tzatziki had such a perfect little touch. And the espresso martini, omg don’t even get me started.
One of the most memorable touches of my evening was something I’ve never experienced at a restaurant before, a handwritten birthday card from the house. That small gesture felt so personal and meaningful.
It’s rare to find a place that puts such genuine care into every detail, but they truly made me feel celebrated and appreciated. I will definitely be returning.
We’re not big cheese people so we got the Melitzana dip to start. It was so flavorful but not overly heavily. We also got the brussels and the sauce on them was the perfect amount of sweet.
I can’t remember the names of our drinks but both were well balanced and not overly sweet.
For dinner we got the special grouper which was so complex. There was a cream mouse at the bottom and olives with a crust on the grouper. Flavors worked so well together and we both finished the whole thing.
Would absolutely be back we loved it!
