Bar was busy and the place was cute. The Gouda Mac and cheese was tasty but the sauce was thin, same with the Alfredo- tasty but not particularly creamy. Burgers and fries came with large portions, burger was a bit dry and over cooked to what I ordered. Would give it another go and try some recommendations from other reviews

I ordered the shrimp and grits every time (probably monthly) and I swear that it is the best S&G I’ve tasted! Even my husband, who is not a lover of grits, says it’s amazing. It has HUGE shrimp, bacon bits, cherry tomatoes, and sauteed onions!
Hubby has had the burgers and the filet…always hot &tasty…very good food! We’ve eaten there, but service is hit or miss so we usually do take out.

Another great find in our new neighborhood! Started off with the poutine and hadn’t ever had it with country gravy but now know I’ve been missing out! Decided to try a couple of their small plates and found out there is nothing small about them. Everything was delicious and can’t wait to try the rest of their menu! I know that this will surely be a place we will frequent!

I ordered chicken Alfredo with onions… I got spiral noodles, the barest amount of Alfredo, no chicken and no onions… but I got spinach of which I’m allergic to…
This is ridiculous. You’d think for $20 CHICKEN Alfredo, they’d actually have have enough common sense to put it with the food they’re sending out… nope… apparently comprehension isn’t their strong suite.

We went during lunch midweek and there was no wait. You wouldn’t even know the place was here unless you knew where you were going. The lunch menu is small, but everyone seemed to enjoy their food. I love how the fries are served in a mini “frying basket”. The French dip was great. It wasn’t too salty which I prefer. If I lived closer, I’d go again because I’d like to try something from their drink menu.

The host was not the politis kid ever he tried to set my friend and I down that was bunched in between tables we are both roughly 6 ft tall and weigh about 200 lb
There was a booth that was supposedly dirty and apparently he was too busy to clean it the food was okay we both ended up ordering the same pasta chicken and Italian sausage not exactly the most flavorful also ordered hors d’oeuvres and pretzel and chicken wings they were pretty good
I have neighbors that go here to get pizza and they say it’s pretty good. If we try it again I may order a pizza

I have never been served raw food until tonight. Rivertown Public House was extremely disappointing because of both the raw chicken on my sandwich and the horrible service. Our drinks were always empty and we even had to ask for plates with our appetizer. Even after she expressed concerns over my uncooked meal, she continued to be negligent towards us. As you can see below, I was served literal RAW chicken and will not be returning to this restaurant.

It’s a good bar with good bar food. Standouts include the bacon brie burger (just delicious) and the shrimp and grits (some of the best we’ve had). It does get crowded, though you cannot make reservations. Sometimes they have live music. Overall, it’s a friendly, boisterous crowd. Recommend eating in. Takeout doesn’t do as well.
