I loved my lunch so much I asked them to pack up dinner for 6 and brought it to my sister’s house to share! Delicious, from scratch, made in house, authentic, original recipes – this place is the real deal. Great for a quick meal or a take out dinner your friends and family won’t soon forget. I live in Boston – but I can’t wait to go back. Simply the best!

Surprisingly good food, right in the heart of the Village of Webster! Nothing fancy…but the food will bring you back to Sweet Wood. The selection is large, with the ribs, brisket, pulled pork and gumbo the standouts (at least what I’ve had so far)! The BBQ is mainly New Orleans or North Carolina style, with a dry rub (you add your own homemade sauces). Has a decent selection of beer and wine, often with daily specials on those. You order at the counter and the very pleasant staff delivers to your table. If you get a sandwich, the bread is also baked right there on the premises. The combo orders are more than enough for two people too. Usually ample parking behind the restaurant. My family’s choice for BBQ!

The pulled pork was pretty good. The beef brisket was AMAZING. The sandwich rolls were fresh and held up well. Coleslaw was a bit bland and a little too crispy. I’ll definitely go back again though. The prices are fair too.

This food is terrible. Ribs were too dry. There is no BBQ flavor on the meat.
Pork has some strange blend of spices including some curry flavor.
The brisket was very dry as well.
The worst part w’re the sauces and side dishes. The Mac and Three Cheese tasted more like uncooked rue.
Do not eat here!

The whole family ate here and no one was disappointed! Reminded me of the popular BBQ joints we have eaten at in the south!!!! (and I liked it better than Dinosaur) Everyone there was so friendly and accommodating in explaining the food and sauces to us! Loved the old blues music playing too!!!

Love southern smoked BBQ? Don’t want to take a road trip down to the Carolina’s? Stop by here and give them a try. Their homemade sauces are to die for. Staff are upbeat and great conversationalists. Walk in a stranger, leave as a friend.

Friday night we are exhausted… We call in for food, their closing yet insist on taking our order. The gentleman on the phone notices that im ordering allot of food and customizes my order to suit us so we don’t have a bunch of sides (there’s only 2 of us but my eyes were bigger then my stomach!) 20 minutes and we’re eating at home in front of the TV with a movie! I can’t say enough about this experience most places would shut the door and turn off the lights! Love it!! (Great food too!)

Delicious bbq, fall off the bone tender ribs. all homemade foods, side dishes, breads, grits, mac and cheese, baked beans. I had my favorite brisket tacos! Dessert was homemade pumpkin pie….

All of the food was cold and the brisket was over cooked. If I didn’t get take take out I would sent the meat back. Also they forgot to give me a few sides that I payed for. Would not recommend.
