I love the service here and the food… specially the ghee roast is the best anywhere. They have such unique food. We tried jack fruit biryani too which I liked too but some thought it was sour so guess try if you like jack fruit. Everything is cooked really well. If you order in advance they have it ready and on table by the time you reach. Can’t beat them in service. And very nicely priced too for the amount you get. Two biryani and a starter is plenty for 4

The food was decent. The butter chicken was not as creamy as I am used to or how it should be in my opinion and had more of an orange bitters taste. Definitely took me by surprise. The Chicken 65 was not juicy and over cooked. The tastiest dish was the Tandoori chicken which is the only item I would order again. The fire naan was good, not great which is pieces of naan covered in peppers which I believe are serrrano peppers.
It’s a small establishment with approximately 8 tables – if you’re looking for a quick Indian meal in the area, it’s not a good option.

I recently tried Golconda in Santa Clara and went for the Mandi with a piece of chicken fry and mutton curry, and it was fantastic. The rice was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, fragrant with spices but not overwhelming. The chicken fry was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and the mutton curry was rich and well-spiced, complementing the mandi beautifully. Portions were generous, and the overall taste felt authentic and satisfying. Definitely a great spot for flavorful, hearty Hyderabadi cuisine.

Host was On the phone for several minutes while 3 customers await to order. Laughing and chatting talking about Costco and carrying on a conversation. We patiently waited , but we had frustrated looks. Besides that, it went well.. food was good quality of what I had. Goat biryani, butter chicken with garlic naan. “”Beware “”” the sharp bones on the goat biryani. You have to filter through the rice and goat meat in your mouth. Hope you don’t swallow, because you will definitely end up in ER for internal stomach damage. That being said,, I comment lightly , the food is okay. …..
As always post wherever you end up , and you order the goat, becareful.

I visited this restaurant for the first time based on a friend’s recommendation. We ordered the non-veg thali, butter chicken with naan, chicken Manchurian, and goat biryani. The food was tasty, with great quality and well-balanced spice levels. I especially enjoyed the mutton ghee roast and biryani from the thali. The portion sizes were satisfying, and the flavors were authentic. The menu offers a good variety, and I’m excited to try more dishes next time. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I would definitely recommend this place!

Stopped by Golkonda to pick up some food on the way to Great America. Ordered Vijayawada Paneer Biryani, Masala Dosa, and Onion Pakora. While the biryani turned out to be flavorful and enjoyable, the rest of the items were just average.
The main issue, however, was the service. Despite ordering ahead, the pickup took nearly double the expected time as they seemed to be overwhelmed with multiple catering orders. It was quite frustrating having to wait so long with no clear communication.
On the plus side, the place was clean and had ample parking, which made access easy. Overall, a mixed experience — decent food (especially the biryani), but the service needs serious improvement.

I usually don’t write reviews, but this place truly made me to write one.
When I first came to California, I was craving Indian food and randomly walked into Nearest Indian Cuisine, honestly the food reminded me of my native place back home.
The taste was amazing, everything felt so fresh, and there was a real home food feeling in every bite. I have been in the US for 4 years now, and this the best Indian food I have had.
The service is also very warm and welcoming.
This place doesn’t just serve food , it feels like home.
Thank you to the wonderful people behind this❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’ve been ordering country chicken from Golkonda Indian Cuisine for the past 8 months, and it has always been excellent—easily the best I’ve had in the U.S.
This time, however, the dish had no flavor at all. It was extremely disappointing and completely different from what I’ve consistently received before. I don’t know what went wrong, but this was the worst experience I’ve had with this item.
If this same quality and flavor continue, you will lose a loyal customer. I’m sharing this feedback honestly in hopes that the usual standard and taste are restored.

One of my go to Indian restaurant in Santa Clara area. It is located at the back/next of gas station. I like the panoramic and vijayavada boneless chicken briyani. I remember the briyani used to have booled egg. The mutton is also good. It has wide variety of dishes on the menu from veggie to non veggie. Service is pretty quick and it is interesting that now they give you bottle water.
