Quaint interior dining with views of the bay. You will need to order and pay from the counter and they’ll bring your order at your table of choice. You will also need to bus your own table. Welcoming staff and food was delicious. The wild salmon burger is very tasty and the apple fritter waffle hits the sweet tooth cravings.

Whale Bites Cafe is awesome! They offer a variety of food (including vegan options) + have a welcoming atmosphere with local artwork, card games, and beautiful scenery. I got the vegan banana cream pie waffle and it was delicious! Will definitely be going back when I’m in the area.

We absolutely love this place!! This weekend’s specials were OFF the charts: birria burrito and butterscotch apple scone! The team here is 100% hard workers, creative beyond compare, and always so kind. The fact that it’s perched over the Depoe Bay Harbor is a fantastic bonus! Thank you, WBC!

Good coffee, GREAT Wild Salmonbagel, and Harborside Sub were both excellent. We leaned more towards the Wild Salmon bagel, but the sub was no slouch either. We sat out back, with a view of the harbor, and it was a “most excellent” morning/experience. The staff was superb in their service, but again, seating is limited so be patient.
Overall a “hit” in our book and we’re glad we made the trip from Lincoln City to Depoe Bay.
Day two, and we drove down from Lincoln City, again, to eat here, again. Again NOT disappointed. Service, food, ambiance, all five stars. This food is WICKED flavorful!
To the young gal that was face timing and treating the entire restaurant as if she was the only person on the planet, thank you for showing the rest of us how inconsiderate you are as a human. We all have our moments, but THAT screams an entitled, selfish existence. Please keep it at home or take it outside.

This place might not look like much on the outside but it’s so cute inside. My friends and I were on an Oregon coast road trip and stopped in here after a whale tour. They had cute decor and games to play while you waited for your food and drinks. I have a dairy allergy so it’s not too often that I get to enjoy certain foods when going out so I was so thankful they had a vegan waffle option. It came out quick and was delicious. I would easily go back here!

First visit here, midweek, and moderately busy. I appreciate a smaller, more focused menu and they provided. Service was prompt and friendly. We ordered the BLT, strawberry shortcake waffle, and the build your own breakfast plate. I was a bit nervous to see the $20 price on the breakfast burrito so I went with the $15 BLT but it was definitely worth it. I imagine the burrito is too. The thin egg was darling and vinaigrette in the arugula had a beautiful balance of citrus and there was some sort of light spice in the sandwich. Honestly, probably the best BLT I’ve ever had. Most surprising was the strawberry shortcake waffle which looks too sweet at first glance but we were SO grateful it was light on the sweetness. The purple flowers were a lovely touch. Loved the vegan options for those who need it. The location and vibes are immaculate too. They had cards at each table and we played war while we waited. Nice touch! This will be a new favorite spot for us in Depoe Bay!

Omgggg so delicious to find a vegan breakfast burrito on the OR coast! They subbed avocado for the veggie sausage for me as well, and it was divine. That chipotle aioli too was delicious! The portion size was huge too and we easily had the other half for breakfast the next morning. 10/10 recommend and we will absolutely be back next time we are on the coast.

Quaint Cafe with fantastic service and wonderful food.
My daughter and I visited for breakfast. Even though my daughter is a VERY picky eater, they went above and beyond to feed her.
The food was great. Atmosphere has a great view into the bay.
We will definitely be regulars!

Convenient spot with some vegan options. The smoothie was soooo good! Pet friendly, they had 3 small outdoor tables at the back of the cafe with views to the harbor. The whole family had a good meal, even the none vegans. Good coffee! The burrito was big enough for 2 people.
