This was my first time trying birria tacos and I was very pleasantly surprised! They were really good and prepared very fresh. I also ordered a goat taco and cow tongue taco. They were very tender and delicious as well! The service was great, the food was fresh, the sauces were fresh and added such a nice flavor to the tacos. The food was was very reasonably priced, I paid about $23 for six nice sized tacos. The birria broth was good, but it was my least favorite of the three sauces that were served to me. The green sauce was my absolute favorite because it has a peppery kick to it that I enjoyed. Overall, this was a really good find and I’ll definitely be back again!

Loved the Birria tacos 6 for $22 is not bad; served with consume and salsas! Those are easily the best thing on the menu. Got a steak taco and it was alright, but way smaller and less meat. Only downside it’s a food truck. When the restaurant comes back, I will literally be a regular. Imagine some chips and salsa and flipping large queso = absolutely bussin’.

This place is awesome!! The best birria tacos in the Baton Rouge area. They are temporarily located at 12616 Airline Hwy operating out of a food truck. It’s still great and you don’t want to miss out.

Goat spoiler: Looking for a hole-in-the-wall place for some authentic Hispanic food then look no further. I split the Birria de Chivo (goat soup) and an order of street tacos with my wife. The tacos and sauces were amazing. The goat soup.. here’s the deal. The soup was good, and certain parts of the meat were good, but… there were some sketchy meat things too. Testicles? Maybe. Weird fatty things, yes. I love to venture out of my bubble and try new things, but the goat soup proved to be too far out for me. Maybe if I grew up eating those things I could appreciate them more. But I did not, and some of the textures were more than I could stomach. However, the soup base and a lot of the ingredients were really good. It’s just the unknown meaty stuff that did me in. I would definitely get the tacos again though. Well worth the wait.

I do love some local flavor and this place has it. Found it on a road trip to FL on a fuel stop. So glad I was able to savor their fantastic tacos. Probably not my healthiest decision, but you gotta do it now and then.

The tacos had incredible flavor. The service was great and easy in and out. Two thumbs up.

After hearing great things about Birria, we couldn’t wait to give the a try…
But, I have to that it was good, not great. Very small, very crowded and very few tables. We ordered the street tacos. The tortillas are homemade corn and very good. The steak/asada toco was flavorful but the meat was dry. The shrimp were extremely small, like possibly frozen shrimp.
They do not offer alcohol of any type… just bottle and can soft drinks. The staff was friendly, but confusing on how to pay when you complete your meal.

May have to come back and try something different next time.

Great flavor and overall a solid option for Baton Rouge. I do feel that this is a little high for street tacos. $2.50-$2.75 (more for birria) for one taco. I would skip the beans. Unimpressive. Will definitely be back to try some other menu items.

Came here for the online craze of Birria tacos and found the craze to be correct. I tried beef, pork, and spicy chorizo. All three were beyond amazing and only can be described as Sabroso. You have to try these tacos and experience the magic first hand to understand their greatness. Not to to be understated the beans and rice although small cup size orders packed a flavorful punch. Last but not least the Churros are the best I have ever eaten anywhere. They would be excellent on a cold night with some Mexican hot chocolate.

Friendly service, delicious food! This is a quaint little restaurant near Cedarcrest & Airline. There is seating on the inside and a few tables outside. The food was prepared in 10 minutes. The wait time was minimal. I can’t wait to order more birria tacos!!

I stopped in for lunch and I’m so glad I did. The server at the counter was very nice and helpful in trying to figure out what to order. I was able to wait outside for my food and went back to pick it up. The birria tacos were so good. They come four or six, so I got four. They were so tasty and filling. It comes with a spicy sauce and a guacamole sauce and a lime with a side of birria sauce for dipping. My goodness it was so good. I will most definitely be back.
