The first time I came here I was impressed with the service and food, however I guess I gave them too much credit. I went again and had the worst experience with food and service. I ordered a carne guisada plate, which proved to be hard, chewy, and salty. Oh well, I figured I could enjoy the beans on a tortilla, but no, that didn’t work out either. Beans were dry and when I grabbed the tortilla I saw a dead crispy fly baked into the tortilla!!! Nope, never again. Don’t waste your time, money, or you palate on this restaurant!

Great food and friendly people. I only have two criticisms. First, the coffee was a little weaker than I like. Second, if you are one of the few non-Spanish speakers like me, the menu has no English translation. But on the other hand, you probably can’t order a bad dish anyway. The decor is bright and welcoming. At noon on a Sunday, the place was packed. A testiment to how good the food is. Several years ago, the location was a small taco shop that wasn’t very good. If you came then, don’t let that dissuade you. This is a whole new operation.

We had the best breakfast! Chilaquiles for me and the mini menudo special for my husband (bowl of menudo and four barbacoa tacos). Both were delicious. Just the right amount of spice in the chilaquiles. We also had café de olla, which was divine. Will definitely be back. It was less than $20.

Stopped by for lunch during Lent, the food is amazing! Definitely a hidden gem. I had the shrimp tacos, others had the fish plate (not the cuaresma special), caldo de res, and the Mexican plate. Everyone was really impressed with their meal! Take a chance and stop by!

I heard about Margaritas from word of mouth and just HAD to try it. The staff are lovely, restaurant is clean, but most importantly, the food is delicious. The portions are HUGE for the price you are paying. I love the Menudo, fried fish, and the eggs. I couldn’t be more grateful to have found this restaurant. If you’re doubting taking a visit, just go!

Very great looking and clean place. Unfortunately the waiter only spoke Spanish and there was confusion in my order. Not too big of a deal. Expect I paid for things I didn’t order nor eat. But the food was not the best tasting. The bacon was over cooked and tasted so bad since it was hard. The tortillas are amazing!!!! The best tortillas in Del Rio I think so far but they have to improve in the taste of the food. My beans were cold. & I asked for onions and cilantro & got basically cilantro barely any onions. I paid 30$ the waffles were amazing! I love the time they took for it to look nice. But unfortunately unless you’re getting eggs in a tortilla don’t go there.
