Hot and delicious food! Everything was hot and tasted fresh. So delicious! I called the store to let them know how truly delicious and customer service is wonderful too . Already took a bite before getting full pics but it’s delicious.

One of the best cheesesteaks I’ve had. Very close to the airport and within walking distance from our hotel. So glad we stumbled upon this gem…it’s definitely worth the stop.

The lady (cashier) recommended the Sam’s Cheesesteak, and it was absolutely delicious. I ordered the cheesesteak with curly fries. It’s definitely on the messy side, but that’s part of the fun and what makes it so satisfying. The food comes out hot and clearly cooked to order, which I really appreciate. Very nice place for a quick stop.

The cheesesteak was delicious, tender, flavorful, and not overly heavy on the bread. I really enjoyed how the cheese was blended right into the meat, giving each bite a smooth, savory balance. It was just a touch saltier than I prefer, but still very enjoyable. Next time, I’d ask for no extra salt, and I’d happily come back again.

The staff were super friendly. Shout out to the cashier for making us feel welcomed. The burger I got was great and the cajun seasoned fries were equally awesome. The perfect spot to go after being stuck at the airport.

Was staying at the Holiday Inn behind this place. Convenient 2-minute walk and open late. Great food! I ordered 12 wings and some curly fries which were both excellent! The wings reminded me of Hooters. They were breaded and very crispy. Prices were about average. Girl working the counter was very friendly. Would definitely recommend and come back if ever in the area.

Ordered take out, the lady who took my order made me feel rushed that’s always rude because we are supporting the business, I got a order of corned beef egg rolls which was ok, and steak egg rolls which didn’t taste that good like other locations I usually go to the Belleville location which is always great! And on point. The curly fries were not fresh and very hard .

My first visit to a Lefty’s & I like it. The service was super friendly & quick.
The combinations available, plus any personal spin you put onto them, is great.
Not a fan of the lettuce or tomato on this type of sandwich but it’s there if you want it.
The amount of cheese is – similar to a competitor’s version – lacking, in my opinion. It’s a cheesesteak, people! With a cheesesteak, I want meat, cheese, onions, peppers, mushrooms and a hoagie roll holding it all together. Jalapeños or pepper relish are a nice addition.
I had the spicy chicken without tomatoes. The shredded iceberg lettuce just makes a mess, honestly. It does hide everything under it though. Next time, I’m dropping that as well.
The price is a bit much. Almost $14 for an 8″ sandwich? For a foot-long, sure, but this should be closer to $10.
Oddly, they have a huge selection of cheesecakes available, whole or by the slice. Unexpected.
The boxes for the sandwiches is 100% recycled material. I like that.
Good enough to give them another shot.

Here is yet another chain restaurant crossed off my list. This is my first time having cheesesteak in the Metro Detroit area. I didn’t get the sandwich but I got the loaded fries with the flamin Cheeto’s and the lemon pepper wings. The loaded were okay, good not great . The lemon pepper wings tasted best when they cooled off a bit. The cheesesteak sandwich’s are definitely smaller than the Philadelphia cheesesteak. The cheese whiz is definitely not the same. But I it works for the Detroit area. The place was close to my hotel so that was great. Service was good. The restaurant was nice and clean so I have no real complaintss.

My first time here I ordered the 8” Lefty’s Cheesesteak. The taste was “good” but only because it was nostalgic of when my mom made me Hamburger Helper when I was child. The texture is anything but steak. It was more like ground beef. I could hear the chopping of the spatulas on the griddle and it sounds excessive. The Cajun fries are WAY over seasoned and I had to take a drink after every bite. Some of them are so over cooked they’re too hard to eat and have to be put aside. The staff was very friendly but after I gave my name and placed my order I stood there waiting for what was supposed to happen next. I told the cashier it was my first time and after I paid I had to ask her, “Do I grab a cup? Is that it?” She kindly said I could grab a cup, but gave no indication of how long it would be until my order would be ready. I assumed most of the other customers were dinning in, but everyone seated was waiting for their order just like I was. I waited about 10-15 minutes for a sandwich and fries. I likely won’t be visiting again.
