Breakfast this morning was a little different. Omelette was cooked eggs with uncooked ingredients folded in at the end. Hashbrowns were pretty underdone. Pancakes were fine – definitely reccomend paying extra for the real maple syrup (yum!). Tina, our server, was very sweet and handled the multiple tables she had with ease.
Next time, I’d skip the breakfast, request Tina again, and order as much as I could possibly stand to eat for dinner.
The food was good. The bread was delicious. It’s nice standard Italian food.
The service was awesome. Voss took care of our 9. Plus a lunch rush.
A Bridge club was in one corner. On Tuesday at noon.
The atmosphere was ok considering the building.
Clean and simple.
I would eat here again.
Everything tasted homemade and fresh. Nothing seemed to come out of a box. Surprised considering a lot is franchised.
Started with a Cosmo and Micaiah’s Bread. Sorry, forgot a photo of the bread. It was probably our favorite. The bread was light, airy and warm. Delicious on its own without dipping. The Cosmo was good, more cranberry than anything.
Our main course came with bread and salad. The bread was good, the salads were okay, just a standard type salads.
For the main course we got a Chicken Tiamo and a Tortellini Alfredo. Me not being a big Italian food guy stepped out of my comfort zone with the Tiamo.
I thought it was fine, but discovered I am not a big fan of the wine sauces. Chicken and prosciutto were good.
My bride thought the Tortellini was okay but heavy on garlic and sun dried tomatoes. She thought they were too overpowering.
Pleasantly surprised with the Andes Mints with our bill.
We started with the rolls and breadsticks with marinara dipping sauce. 3 of us decided to share the Gnocchi with chicken and cream and the Pinocchio pizza with chicken added. The portions were generous and easy to share. The gnocchi was pretty rich so I was glad to share and the pizza had a lot of toppings. We finished with the Kentuckey Bourbon Pie which was ok but not great, it was more like a cake and looked better than it tasted for me. My friend really liked it. I think I should have gone with the Tiramisu or Carrot Cake per the waitress recommendation….so next time! Very expansive menu so a lot of options to try!
