We were driving back from new York to Canada and stopped by this beautiful restaurant. The owner and his wife were soo lovely and we felt so welcomed and the food was heavenly. It felt so authentic and when we are back in the US, we are definitely stopping by again!

Absolutely loved this place! We were greeted as we walked in and offered samples to help us decide what we wanted to order. The food was delicious! So much flavor in the beef that we chose. The yellow rice and peas along with the Pinto Beans were delicious. The empanadas were pretty good as well! We tried the beef and the chicken but I wish we would have ordered the beef and cheese & chicken and cheese. That’s what I’ll have to do next time we’re in the area. This is a must try if you have the chance!

Emilio’s place catered a wedding I attended this weekend. The food was delicious. The best chicken, rice, and beans I’ve had in a long time. I could tell the food is made with love. Emilio, the owner, was wonderful and kind. I can’t wait to visit his restaurant soon!

If I could give a million stars I would! Not only is the food out of this world delicious (even reheated at home and the next day which says a lot!). The service is top notch! I had the pleasure of meeting Eric and he is by far the sweetest person I’ve ever met. You can tell he loves to be there and is really so proud of the food they make! If you live here why I haven’t you tried this place yet?! And if you’re visiting YOU HAVE TO STOP HERE!!!

Very nice lunch/dinner spot, very reasonable prices! the empanadas were a bit greasy, but tasty and when made fresh–the crusts were excellent
We had the beef & cheese and chicken & cheese. The beef could’ve been a bit more flavorful but the chicken & cheese was excellent!
The eating space isn’t fancy, but functional and bright.
The owner(?)/staff at the register was so friendly and cheerful and welcoming! You definitely feel like you’re going to “eat at her house”.

Small and quaint, family run place. The guy was very helpful and patient. Don’t let the atmosphere deter you as the food here is definitely worth a try. Their pork shoulder (a little salty but with the other items was great) 9/10 came with a rice (yellow or white) and beans (pinto or black) . We also go the empanadas – beef carne 9/10, cheesesteak 8/10, chicken 7/10. The yuca fries 9/10 were not what I expected as it wasn’t fried but was very tasty. The seasoning here on all their items were great and on point. Definitely recommend a visit!

Was at Great Wolf Lodge for my son’s birthday over the weekend. We wanted to try this place after searching for Latin food (my mom is Puerto Rican) nearby. Went our first night, and were warmly greeted by the couple that owns the place. They set up the table for my family, and then promptly had us try samples of a bunch of the food, so we could see what we like. They were the friendliest people, and the food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Very authentic, and a little bit of everything! We were so happy we went back yesterday before hitting the road home to grab lunch and takeout for dinner at home. This time their son was running the show, and he was just as awesome. Absolutely amazing people making absolutely amazing food. If you’re in the area, and are looking for great food (and likely a good conversation with good people) this is definitely a great spot!
