I have not been to a restaurant since December 2021 but decided to get out a little last weekend. Got there around 3pm and there was just one other group of diners, so the restaurant was quiet and very clean.
Servers were super polite and quick as well.
Loved the food! The Mongolian chicken was excellent, I loved the amount of veggies included and the halibut itself was great- but for me the sauce was just too sweet.
If you’re a chocolate lover, the chocolate cake was deliciously rich and slice was reasonable to not be overwhelming.
Overall great dining experience-definitely plan to return 🙂

I celebrate my birthday here every year during lunch because they have great lunch specials.

Oh and this review is long overdue. Always have a big crowd with me. This year the food was great. The staff was nice. Just fyi there is $200 deposit for a party, maybe that’s changed.

As with previous years service a bit slow but we live in such fast paced world i wonder if that’s just me always in a rush. Asked for hot tea multiple times, never had it but thats ok. A few times I had to come out from my own party to find staff to make sure my guests had what they ordered.

Great food and drinks! Pricier than I like but a great experience. A friend and I went after work and loved it! We need to go back during happy hour. The kani salad was complemented with some crunch (maybe tempora?) and lettuce, different from what I’m used to but I enjoyed it. And the spicy Thai lemongrass soup was just what I needed because I was feeling a little chilly. I also had the combo dinner sushi and it all tasted fresh and good. They had so many great looking options that I need to go back. Overall, great experience!

I’ve been to the Forest Hills branch and I must say this branch is way better. I still have to try the one is Hewlett but this place is more spacious and the food is much better too! I came here with my family for lunch and the service is amazing! My parents are quite picky when it comes to food but they really loved it here! I’d definitely would come back here!

Very nice atmosphere, but was a bit noisy at the time we went there, the cushion at the location we were seated at was torn, they should probably get that fixed. My sushi was very tasty and the Shrimp Shumai was very good, would definitely go back here again. Looking forward to trying more from the menu.

I like the place, great lunch special for $20 you get sushi or cooked meal. Decent quality. Been there both times for lunch. Service can be slow if a lot of people but were accommodating.

MoCA in Forest Hills has been my go to since high school but I had to check out their Woodbury location. Their dining room is stunning with booths separated by tall bamboo dividers. Moca’s pan-Asian menu encompasses dishes from Japan, China, Korea, Thailand and Malaysia. We tried selections from both the sushi bar and the kitchen. Their VIP karaoke rooms are a plus and the Lazy Susans in there added to the presentation. Moca’s hospitality was top notch. It was a cold afternoon. They offered green tea and miso soup. Their shrimp dumplings, sweet teriyaki salmon and the pad Thai were my favorite! It was my first time trying Sashimi and it was a very unique taste. Of course I had to try it at Moca. I enjoyed the sushi and Nutella bomb dessert which was chef recommended!

July 2021. The outside of the restaurant looks boring and drab, so much so that our party accidently tried to get into the neighboring cryotherapy store. The interior of the restaurant is furnished nicely with fake trees, colored lights, chandeliers, and plenty of art on the wall. Although we came for dinner, I noticed there is a bar with a TV that people were enjoying. Dinner tables were large which I particularly appreciate. Prices were expensive for my preference, with appetizers in the $10-20 range, and entrees in the $25-40 range.

This is an Asian fusion restaurant. I’m not sure what that means, but the menu was big and had a mix of Chinese, Japanese, and Thai foods, with some emphasis on sushi. Our group ordered several appetizers including the sushi pizza, Volcano roll, and Oyster Bay roll, all of which were good. My main course was the MoCA sushi dinner, which was a mix of sushi and sashimi. I would have liked some free bread, but I guess they don’t do that here.

There was quite a few flies inside the restaurant (drain flies? fruit flies?) which were attracted to our food. It wasn’t a proper swarm of flies, but there was enough to draw my attention and wave them away as necessary.

High end Asian Fusion…..that comes with a price tag. This is a beautiful space with delicious food and a beautiful ambiance.

This place had great cocktails and food. In addition, there was wonderful live music tonight by the very talented Lydia von Hof.

There were lots of choices on the menu. Maybe too many covering Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Korean and Thai…..I really enjoyed my Sashimi and Short Ribs. In addition, my family loved the Pad Thai, Seasame Chicken, Avocado Salad, Chicken Dumplings and Roasted Peppers.

Our waiter Jason was patient and provided nice recommendations.

We will definitely come back!
