Deliciousness takes time, but it’s worth it. This was our second time at this restaurant, and they seem to run on a small staff, so the food does take some time. We were there for about an hour in total, so not too long, but it’s not fast food. We enjoyed our food and the service was very courteous. We will be back!

While traveling from Washington to Arizona we stopped in Klamath Falls for the night and were lucky enough to enjoy dinner at Hanayori. We ordered the Beef Bulgogi and the Chicken Katsu with green tea and a Sapporo. Both dishes were beautifully prepared for both taste and presentation. If we lived in Klamath Falls we would certainly become regulars. Don’t miss it if you are in town!

Let’s start with the good. Food was great – as hopefully raw fish would be. Great taste and presentation. No complaints except for the cost. See menu. These are big city prices.
Service was attentive and respectful. Very nice. Sometimes forgetful, but I can be forgetful too. I asked for a glass for my $6 bottle lager, and it was scummy. Not sure of the cleaning appliances, but it’s not an autoclave. And, I am eating raw fish…so a tad concerning.
Lastly, the atmosphere is fine, but a dead plant greets you at the entrance. See picture. A little bit of effort goes a long way, if you’re trying to impress…or stay in business. It’s not that difficult. Talking about attention to detail, I can’t believe that the specials menu featured a “Californina” roll.
Last comment. Because I told you…don’t be surprised that there is a bidet in the public restroom. Ew.

People seem to come here to eat rolls, apparently 2-3 per person. I’ve never seen anything like it. We shared tempura and a roll, and I thought it was generous. I can’t explain those other people’s monstrous appetite.

We arrived about 7pm on a Friday night. We were advised sushi would take longer. We ordered two starters and 5 rolls. It didn’t take as long as we were initially told and everything was very good the table favorite was the Burrito Roll!

Food was good. The service was ok. It was hard to hear what the server was saying. Overall I’d recommend this place of you find yourself wanting sushi in Klamath falls.
