The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere—spacious, well-appointed, and inviting. However, the food was a bit underwhelming. We tried the shrimp cocktail, chicken, Caesar salad, and mussels, and while they were decent, none stood out. The side of spinach was also disappointing, lacking flavor.

That said, the kids’ menu was a highlight. My boys enjoyed the pasta with butter and cheese and the chicken tenders, both of which were very good. The service was another strong point—warm, friendly, and attentive, which added to the overall experience.

I’d definitely return, but more for the ambiance than the food. Sitting at the bar for a drink and soaking in the atmosphere sounds like a perfect way to enjoy this spot.

Went to Muse restaurant last night – the food was amazing – we had the fluke (fresh off the boat!), the duck and coconut shrimp. The host, Mario, was warm and welcoming. Our waiter, Brian, was an all-star! The overall experience was wonderful and I’d highly recommend!

Came here for dinner and had a really nice experience. Started with the margarita pizza with onion as an appetizer—fresh, simple, and delicious. For entrées, we ordered the Muse pasta primavera and the 14 oz grilled shell steak, both of which were very good. Lots of food and drink options on the menu. Service was attentive, and the atmosphere was quiet with a nice, relaxed vibe. Would definitely come back.

It was truly an amazing experience. We stopped by on our way back from a drive through the Hamptons and Montauk without a reservation, and every dish was wonderful. In particular, the seafood diavolo pasta was rich with the natural flavors of the sea, and my husband absolutely loved it.

That day, our younger daughter wasn’t feeling well, so we had to leave the restaurant in a hurry. In the rush, I accidentally left my body bag—which contained my wallet and other valuables—behind. The owner kindly kept it safe for me and even sent it to our home address. I called to thank them, but I still felt the need to express my gratitude, so I decided to write this review.

The food was delicious, and the way they took such good care of my lost belongings meant so much to us. I’m truly grateful. This experience made me love Montauk even more, and my family and I look forward to visiting many more times in the future.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Came here with a few girlfriends for our yearly reunion. We travel from Brooklyn and other parts of Long Island, and the food and service was beyond up to par. We loved our server Becky! Super sweet, nice and attentive. We ordered the burger, scallops, baked oysters and lobster ravioli and loved every single dish. 10/10 highly recommend. Do not pay any attention to any negative reviews! We promise!

This was, without question, one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. We had an 8 PM New Year’s Eve reservation, ordered around 8:10, and didn’t see our first appetizer until about 9:20 — and it was awful.

We also ordered a simple butter pasta for our 4-year-old, and they charged $35 for it. Thirty-five dollars. For plain butter pasta. Absolutely ridiculous and borderline insulting.

Our mains finally arrived close to 10 PM, completely overcooked and honestly inedible. At that point we were furious, spoke with our server and the manager, and negotiated to just pay around $200 (including their forced 20% NYE surcharge) so we could leave. We agreed to it simply because we didn’t want to waste any more of our time + What makes this even worse is that this wasn’t just any night — my wife’s birthday is January 1st, so this dinner was meant to be part of her celebration. Instead, it turned into one of the most frustrating and disappointing dining experiences we’ve ever had.

This place is disorganized, painfully slow, insanely overpriced, and completely ruined what should have been a special night. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.

good option for midweek Happy Hour; it was quiet and the place was mostly empty. Half price well drinks, discounted beers. The unexpected $1 oysters were fresh and a nice surprise! The rock shrimp salad was delicious. Entire bar counter was underlit blue so the photo colors are off. People at the bar were friendly. Bartender didn’t know what a Sea Breeze was but was promoting Paloma’s! Late Aug 2024.

It was a memorable evening as we slid from the bar to our table. There was no affectation just plain old fashioned service. Travis, who you might mistake for Matthew McConaughey is def the ringleader under the patriarch’s watchful eye. You can’t go wrong with the rib-eye cooked to perfection. Ask for the Lavender Gimlet, it is a keeper.

I have never written a bad review, but I felt morally compelled to do so in this case, for the good of everyone and anyone who for some reason is inclined to go to Muse @ The End in Montauk. I do not say this lightly, but it was hands-down the WORST meal I’ve ever had.

The baked clams were burnt and sandy, and tasted like the ocean in the worst possible way. The fluke Francese was so hard it was difficult to cut (how exactly one manages to get the consistency of fish to be so solid is beyond my comprehension), and it tasted fishy and disgusting, not to mention the overwhelmingly bad smell coming from it. The mashed potatoes were clumpy, tasteless, dry, and downright inedible. The pork chop was dangerously undercooked, too chewy to even eat, and tasted like rotten meat. We sent it back and were presented with chicken parmigiana that was even worse, if possible. The chicken was surely prepared far in advance, frozen, and then reheated, probably in a microwave, because it came out within minutes. I have never tasted chicken so horrible: it was rancid and rubbery. Frankly, I don’t even know what kind of meat it was, but I have never tasted anything so offensive to the palette. The mozzarella cheese was sour and burnt. The sauce tasted like watery, spoiled tomatoes, and the pasta was like mush. The only difficult part was choosing which element of his horrendous meal was the most foul.

Again, I hesitated to write this, as I don’t like leaving bad reviews and I wouldn’t waste my time doing so if I didn’t feel it absolutely necessary, but I had to say this as a matter of conscience. This food was sickening. Nobody should be subjected to this kind of meal and be asked to pay for it. Stay far away from Muse @ The End, for your own well-being. You’ll thank me for it!

My wife and I went for after dinner drinks. Great atmosphere. The people at the bar were super friendly and out going not stuck up like at Harvest. The bartender I forgot grab his name but he was bald with a goat tee. Super attentive, singing along with the songs. I would go back again next time we come out in May.
