I came here recently for a late lunch with my friend and it was worth it. We ordered a few things to share – Gyudon Philly (w/ Truffle fries), Wagyu Truffle burger (w/ furikake fries), and an order of chicken wings. I really liked how the gyudon Philly tasted as they did a good job of incorporating the ingredients. The wagyu Truffle had a great flavor profile to it. I don’t think you can go wrong when there’s Truffle involved. The wings were fried perfectly and came with an assortment of dipping sauces. We also had a couple of cocktails to go with the meal. The Light of the Pear (a slight variation of an old fashioned) was very easy to drink and made well. We also had a Toki Highball, a classic drink. Overall, the bartender/server was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I had a great experience and hope to check them out for dinner next time.

If you’re looking for drinks and possibly some small Asian dishes to complement your beverage, this is the place to be. One great thing about this spot is that you can also come here to grab a drink if you’re waiting for some people or a reservation at another restaurant in this complex. Parking is difficult so why not stay in the area instead of going somewhere else.

Imagine a reconstructed bar where instead of just regular bar food and regular drinks, it’s been upgraded to have a quality alcohol selection to accompany your Asian style bar foods.

They offer a full bar of alcohol that also includes some sake and a good selection of Japanese whiskey. Their bar also includes a great selection of different types of alcohol that you wouldn’t see at your regular local bar.

This is great for a social gathering as there is a nice bar seating area as well as a lot of space for large groups. The service is great as it is similar to any other bar. You can get fast service at the bar or a server will come around and take your order(s).

Delicious food, great atmosphere, and friendly service. The truffle sliders and lobster rolls were a delight! The wasabi truffle mashed potatoes were gourmet comfort food at its finest. The menu had such a great selection, I have to go back to try even more!

We heard about the mochi pounding event and came to check it out. There were people pounding mochi outside with drums going as well, very festive!

We tried a couple items from their mochi menu and items from their regular menu as well. The age dashi mochi was delicious. I loved the texture of the mochi. The red bean soup with mochi was a miss for us. The mochi itself was again fantastic but the red bean soup seemed off.

The miso cod entree was delicious and immediately inhaled. The curry stew was good but the beef bites were tough and dry. We ordered the sashimi don and it almost didn’t arrive by the time we got tired of waiting and wanted to leave.

The service staff were nice but seemed inexperienced. We had significant waits between dishes. We spent most of the hour sporadically waiting for food rather than eating.

I appreciate that they took the item off our bill and still gave us the dish anyways since it was already being made by the time we asked to cancel it. It boogles the mind what could take an hour to serve a sashimi don.

I would come back to try other items. The food tasted freshly made and were executed well. I also appreciated the new year mochi celebration!

The food, drinks, desserts, and atmosphere were all outstanding and perfectly balanced. The friendly staff and bartenders, along with the cheerful guests, created a warm and welcoming vibe that made the whole experience special. Whether visiting alone, as a couple, or with a big group, this place has the perfect space and flexibility for any occasion!
⭐ Highly recommended: the French fries, mini burgers, and crème brûlée are absolute must-tries!
I can’t wait to come back again!

Not just your run-of-the-mill “bar food” at this spot!
Delicious, handcrafted food for a phenomenally low price
The burger was cooked to perfection with no detail spared. The meat was so delicate that it was literally melting in my mouth. The furikake fries were a delightful treat. Do not put any toppings on them. Try them the way they come. I would recommend that for everything that I sampled at this establishment today.
The chef even allowed us to sample an exclusive creation that is not yet on the menu. I would definitely recommend this place. If you’re looking for a good vibe spot, a place to grab a bite with a date, or just a place for a good conversation at the bar. Display just opened about two months ago and it needs some exposure. I encourage everyone, both local and tourist, to give this place a try.

Tried out Nisei Bar & Grill and had such a great experience. First off, thank you to Julie for the amazing service — she really made the night even better.

My favorite dish was the Pan Roast — the sauce was rich, flavorful, and just melted in your mouth. An absolute must-try. The Lobster Rolls were another standout. Lobster rolls can be hit or miss, but theirs was fresh, well-seasoned, and delicious. The Truffle Fries had the perfect balance — you could taste the truffle without it being overpowering. The Wagyu Sliders were juicy, full of flavor, and very satisfying. The Yellowtail Crudo was fresh. I personally love a lot of yuzu, and while I wished it had a little more, it was still delicious.

For drinks, I was impressed by the Matcha Colada. Tequila, coconut, and matcha isn’t a combination I ever thought of, but it worked so well together — refreshing and surprisingly delicious.

Dessert was a highlight as well. The Matcha Mousse Cake was light with just the right amount of matcha presence and bitterness, not overly sweet. The Crème Brûlée was excellent, and my favorite part was the cookie topping.

We ended the night with Lychee Shots, which were smooth, refreshing, and the perfect way to wrap up the meal.

Lastly it was nice to see a local artist be featured in the restaurant (@prettydone).

Overall, Nisei delivered an amazing dining experience from start to finish. I’m looking forward to going back.

Came on a Saturday at 9:30 and the place wasn’t very busy, we were the only table. The food and light of the pear old fashion were amazing! I forgot our servers name but she was great, we got mostly her recommendations for food and we weren’t disappointed. Also, a reasonably priced bottle of Sake was perfect with the food.

Zabuton steak: Unfortunately, the steak had the texture of chewing gum. I had to spit pieces out, and I didn’t finish the rest. The bok choy and mushrooms were good though . Truffle fries were also really good!

Hands down my favorite Japanese bar food experience in Vegas in a very long time!

The lobster rolls were amazing but the shrimp pan roast is the real star. If you get one thing make it that. Between the ajitama egg sando and the wagyu slider you can’t pick a winner so get both. And if you’re really going for it the wagyu meatball AND uni pasta is an absolute must . I can’t recommend either enough.

Shoutouts to Natasha for the S tier service. She made the ten times night even better!
