Really neat restaurant with a terrific view of the river. Service was fantastic, great waiter. Cozy atmosphere and plenty of room.
We had the fried fish, shrimp tacos, steaks and jambalaya. Everyone loved their food.

We visit Gavin’s Point every year for our anniversary. The past few years we have gone to Murdo’s for dinner and it’s been amazing both times! Great food, great service and perfect weather on the deck overlooking the water.

The food was great! Great view of the Missouri River while dining. Didn’t give 5 stars only because the restroom design was odd. Instead of a regular stall for the toilet, they have a shower curtain! I guess there’s a first time for everything.

We came for a quick evening meal around 8:30pm. The bacon wrapped filet and asparagus was delicious. My husband had the jambalaya and said it was delicious too. Its hard to beat an excellent meal with a view! The service was great too!

Unfortunately, they do not have their signature walleye anymore. I was a little surprised that’s what this place was known for and changed it to Pollock. They do have blackend walleye. We hadn’t been here for several years and drove from over an hour away for that special walleye we were looking for. Pretty bummed. They did have a really good steak. The service was awesome. Hoping they go back to the walleye we all know and love. Gave a 4 because this places is to much of a local icon to bash ❤️.

Some locals in Yankton suggested Murdo”s for dinner.
It is only a few minutes across the dike road in Nebraska. This is a nice place. The staff were wonderful, service was great, food was fabulous and reasonable.
Being December, it was very peaceful. Would be great for a night out with your better half.
Can’t wait to visit the establishment during the warmer months and enjoy the outdoors and patio.
