These people are getting through the lunch rush crazy fast. The food is delicious and fresh. They had our order out in 5 minutes in the lobby at noon. Peak lunch time and they’re functioning like a well oiled machine. Thanks for bringing back my favorite fast food!

It has been very busy from the moment they opened! However, they had 12 people working when we went and getting food out in a good amount of time! The food was great tasting and looked nice! Not slapped together like others. The building is small with small inside seating. The parking lot is on the northside of the building and small as well. There are 2 drive-thru lanes though! It does get backed up at times and clogs the street but once the newness wears off a bit and the other stores open up, it should calm down a little. It is a favorite of many people!!!

The food was great quality and the two service employees that helped me and my friend were stellar. This young guy helped me at the counter and he was very patient with us and had a great attitude. The young gal who took the food out to our table was extremely nice and helped direct my friend where to get sauce. They were both great to be around!
That being said I wouldn’t say this visit wasn’t a 10/10 by a long shot. Not at the fault of the employees, but rather because of their manager. I saw this young man cleaning lobby and then asked by a different manager to bring a tray to a table. He extended his arms and walked to bring it out. Then a different manager when up to the tray, grabbed it in front of the employee as he was about to grab it himself, and took it out herself instead. She then smirked at her other managers after she did that. I thought that was odd, but that’s not the only bad thing I saw. She went up to the young gal that helped us and told her that she needs to scrub the counters and condescendingly told her “this will build character.”
This location hasn’t been open for very long and all the employees are new hires. You don’t train your employees by being mean to them. That’s not what a real manager does. I hope she changes her behavior because it’s clear that her acting that way is creating a toxic environment not just for the employees, but also for the customers who have to see you acting inappropriately.

I know they just opened but was a horrible experience I told them twice for two of my tacos to be hard and no cheese I have a son who is lactose intolerant and so what they give me a taco with just meat and cheese and that wasn’t the only thing this is what it looked like don’t know if I’ll go back

On my first time visiting the Taco John’s under new management I ordered 2 M&P breakfast burritos with sausage. I was served 2 M&P breakfast burritos with bacon and pico, these burritos do not come with pico. It was not crazy busy and they had plenty of staff, the bag even had the correct receipt in it.
Visit number 2 I was told it is against the new owners policy to provide a small side of ole seasoning. I have received a small side of seasoning at every other Taco John’s that I’ve made the request at, across several states.
The oles at any Taco John’s are frequently not well seasoned. If you ask for extra on just your order you end up with too much on top, an no extra at the bottom.
I’ve never had any restaurant, sit down or fast food, refuse a side of anything they have available.
Edit: the breakfast burritos were very good once made correctly.

No wonder there hasn’t been a Taco John’s in Fargo for 5 years. I went through drive thru and potato oles and burrito I ordered was cold. Not Luke warm or warm, COLD !! I’ll wait until they open another location before I go back to this Taco John’s. Not satisfied at all.

Service has dropped off since opening. They got my whole order wrong today and forgot the drink. Hash browns tasted like they were cooked in old grease and they didn’t season them at all. Went from being extraordinary to just another fast food place that doesn’t care about the people or service they give. This was at breakfast time.

The service was nice and quick. The food however could have been loaded with meat a lot more. My boyfriend got the boss bowl and it had 3 pieces of steak when it’s literally called a boss bowl. Skimping on the meat is not ok when it’s literally the best part. That bowl should have been loaded with steak.

2 nights ago I sat in drive through for an hour got up to order sat there for 20 mins no one was taking my order looked at the time 10:09 so I sat at the speaker since 9:45 they closed at 10 why wasn’t I able to place my order. Went back the next day charged for 2 cheese got home and what you expect no cheeses where with my order wasn’t going to run back cause my potatoes olays would be cold and I would just throw them away. The Mexican donuts where nothing like the picture they where actually very disgusting. Drive through is a nightmare no one knows how to use although it’s been around for years McDonald’s perfected it but still no one knows how to use it at Taco John’s. I am very disappointed with inside and outside been through both and I probably will not be going back for a very very very long time. Ohhh and like 5 employees stand around at all times pretty much being loud and obnoxious.
