GREAT fried shrimp and fried oyster po boys (the real French bread really makes the difference). Also dine in for the freshest , hot, crispy fries you ever had. One large fry more than filled up my adult Son and me!!
Truly friendly staff!!

I ordered a shrimp poboy. The staff was nice. The Po-Boy was put together well and the bread was really fresh. After a few bites, I noticed I wasn’t tasting much shrimp and decided to dig a little. There’s a VERY thick batter on the shrimp and it’s pieces of shrimp being fried, not whole shrimp. Disappointing…. I doubt if I return, but if I do I won’t be ordering the shrimp poboy again.

I’ve looked for a Paton Hot Sausage Po- Boy for 10yrs. Thanks to Mike’s po Boys I’ve found my new favorite spot. The French bread was crispy on the outside and fluffy and light on the inside, the patties were cooked just right and dressed with lettuce tomatoes and pickles. Perfection!!
I definitely recommend this place.

I stopped here for lunch today and ordered the Fried Chicken Strip Po’boy. Po’boy comes fully dressed with tomato, mayo, and pickles. You have the option to omit the ingredients to your liking. Bread was ok. Chicken strips were juicy and had flavor. I really enjoy it! They also have Chinese food such as egg rolls and fried rice. I usually come here for the sandwich though. Perhaps on the next visit, I’ll try something different.

Just driving through pulled up the search for good Roast beef Po’boy, they also have a big selection of Chinese foods. I got a sm chicken fried rice, very good. The sandwich, eh, not as good as I remember them when I lived in Metairie. The juice was good. But the meat didn’t have that deep roast beef being cooked down. I ate it, but looks like I’ll have to make another trip on day.

Food was hot and fresh. Wait time little long but they were busy. Bread for po boy was hard to me but my husband said it was supposed to be. I would go back.

The last time I visited Mike’s I noticed nearly everyone was ordering egg rolls. I made a note to try them, and did so this time and I can see why they are popular. Very fresh and light with good flavors. Not a heavy deep fried Americanized egg roll.
For the poboy I chose the roast beef with gravy. I will say that I prefer my roast beef poboys with the beef debris (think more like a pot roast that’s been close cooked till it falls apart) where Mike’s is deli style meat in a gravy. The gravy itself had good flavor and it definitely scored high on the napkin test. Big and messy like I like it. Next time I am going to try a cold poboy like ham or turkey.
