This is some of the #best #authentic #Italian #food you can get anywhere around here, its a hidden gem. SO GOOD we ordered from here 2 nights in a row which we never do. Everything was how Nona would have made it. We tries #pizza which they actually have a #real #18inch Large, #cannoli’s, #antipastasalad, #calzone #meatballs, #cheesecake #hoagies #cheesecake #teriyaki #chickenwings & #redvelvetcake was all #delicious

We picked up some takeout from here while we were on vacation in the area! The pizza was hot fresh and the crust was crispy on the edge… Absolute perfection! We also ordered mild buffalo wings, and they did not disappoint, crispy, and flavorful! We also got a small Greek salad. Everything was fresh and delicious, we would highly recommend this place!

Normally when I visit a new city I PREFER NOT to get the NATIONAL BRANDS ( you know PIZZA HUT , DOMINOS, MARCOS ) and try LOCAL, well this time HUGE MISTAKE. I ordered Sausage, Mushroom and Pineapple and was SHORTED on the toppings in a major way. As you can see from the pic they didn’t even give good coverage here coupled with chopping the sausage into small pieces and there were a few bits of mushroom here. I have NEVER given a review to ANYTHING but this one DESERVED a post. I would have given it a 0 but was only given a choice of at least 1 STAR for food quality, NOT DESERVED. This is a DEFINITE PASS………TRASH.
Might I add I also ordered LEMON PEPPER wings, no PEPPER at all more like Salt and Vinegar but they were good but not LEMON PEPPER.

⭐️ 1 Star – Disappointing First Experience
This was my first time ordering from Davino’s Pizza of Mooresville, and unfortunately the experience fell well below expectations. I placed my order through the Grubhub app and anticipated a straightforward transaction.
Shortly after ordering, I received a call informing me that I was required to add a salad to my order. I clearly stated that I did not want a salad, yet one was added anyway without my authorization. The $10 item resulted in additional service fees and increased my total by nearly $20.
Once I contacted Grubhub to correct the issue, the order was adjusted appropriately. However, following the correction, the delivery time became excessively delayed to the point that the food was no longer acceptable upon arrival.
This experience reflects poorly on Davino’s operational practices, particularly for first-time customers. That said, I want to commend Grubhub’s customer support, which was professional, responsive, and effective in resolving the issue.
While I appreciate Grubhub’s service, this experience has ensured that I will not be ordering from Davino’s again.

I stopped in for the first time this past Friday night. Rachel took our order and brought out our food and really made the whole experience just that much better. She was so pleasant and attentive. We look forward to her serving us again. Also, the food was great! A nice salad filled with veggies and a decent Philly cheesesteak pie.

This restaurant takes more orders than they can deliver for major events. Two years in a row I have made an order for wings, pizza etc for the superbowl. Both times the order was placed a couple of weeks in advance. Last year the order was 2 hours late and this year it was 1:45 late. Pick it up yourself or order it from a restaurant that takes delivery times seriously, and there are several around here who do. I feel like an idiot that it took me two times to learn this. I would much rather be told that they cannot take or deliver my order than fail to deliver it within a couple of hours of the agreed upon time. I feel like this is a combination of disorganization and greed. Last year my neighbors were at my house waiting with me and they eventually ordered Chinese food. My kids did the same this year. Aggravating.

Great pizza shop with a hometown feel to it. Lots of your favorite pizza combos from which to choose and they’ll customize to your request as well. Not a whole lot of seating inside but most of the customers were there for carry-out so we had a booth no problem. The pizza had a great crust and ample toppings, Crisp, fresh side salad, too. The fountain drink machine was broken so there were only bottled drinks out of the cooler available. Regardless of that little bit, I still highly recommend dining in, taking out, or getting delivery (within 5 miles). ENJOY!!

I got stuck in Mooresville on 1/31/26 because of the snow. My hotel provided breakfast, but was looking to doordash dinner. I was prepared to tip well over customary. However most places were closed(which is understandable) I called Davinos and was told no door dashes were working. The gentleman I spoke with (owner?) Told me because my hotel was so close, he would deliver to me. Not only was the food delicious, to deliver in a snow storm was just so nice! Thank you so much for the excellent food and the exquisite service in such adverse conditions!

Crust was thin and crispy. Sauce coverage was good. Toppings were spread evenly. Some seasoning was added on top of the pizza like parsley and oregano. Overall the pizza was plain tasting. I like my NY Style dripping in grease and cheese from each slice which is personal preference.
