Our real estate team stopped in for lunch at Bean Counter Cafe as part of our “KC Chow Down” series, where we spotlight local small businesses—and we’re so glad we chose this spot! The food was delicious, the staff was incredibly welcoming, and they even took a photo with us, which made the experience extra special.
The menu had a great variety, and we all ended up ordering something different. Everything we tried was tasty and very reasonably priced. We’ll definitely be back again. Thanks for the great meal and warm hospitality!

Amazing place! Sandwiches, smoothies, and lots of great drink options like bottled sodas, flavored lemonades, and refreshers. Love the fact that they also offer gluten free options (and their GF bread is actually good). Staff was also super friendly and helpful. Definitely will be coming back!

This cafe is perfect. Ordering is easy, the staff are helpful if you need/want a recommendation, and the atmosphere is calming.The food is consistent and delicious!! The food also comes out not very long after ordering. This place is very timely. Additionally, I think this is the best coffee I’ve ever had. I have a huge sweet tooth n need my coffee sweet, which most cafes and commercial coffee spots can’t achieve that well. But this place does it. Love coming here before work. It’s the perfect start for my morning!

Took them over 30 mins to make 3 eggs (scrambled), toast, and hashbrowns. Dude didn’t know what happened, I think they forgot or intentionally skipped me. I had to specifically ask after 30 mins and the food came right away…
Food was great. Didn’t appreciate the service. Still tipped them 20% because of the lady taking orders, she was very helpful. Tip came before food otherwise I would have reduced it to 5%.

Way over priced for what you get. Food was just ok. Zero service. We had to get our own table, water, coffee/tea and then they want you to bus your table too. It’s one step above a fast food joint with sit down dinner prices. Won’t be returning and won’t recommend.

The Bean Counter Cafe is a gem! The food is consistently great and the service is even better. The staff are genuinely friendly and make you feel welcome every time you walk in. The counter staff is always helpful and their smoothie recommendations are spot-on — I’ve never been disappointed. The owners are super nice as well. A wonderful place with great vibes and even better people. Highly recommend!

My daughter with food allergies loves this place. I’m not joking I don’t give five stars across the board to any place. They nail her food allergies to the very best of their ability with dairy and gluten. They have a wide range of things that they provide for food and Special tea drinks and the place is always clean always nice and always friendly. A couple weeks ago I took a large group in here on one of their busier days and they still manage to get our whole order. Correct and get it all out to the table in a timely matter.
