The experience was good. Service was fine. The building is interesting, almost historic looking. The food isn’t Mexican. It’s inspired by Mexican food and gets close here and there, but it’s not authentic. If you didn’t care about that part, it’s a decent place for sure.

The atmosphere of the place was very chill. Our server was friendly. The food was fantastic! I had a shrimp burrito and it was wonderful. There did seem to only be two people working so sometimes we’d have to wait a little bit for service, but overall it was very good Mexican food.

Absolutely amazing. Best house margarita hands down. Surf and turf burrito was absolutely spot on and made me melt.

This place is a little hidden gem! We come here often! Very adorable restaurant settled in the hills of Western PA in a small town right off of the Ohio River. THIS is authentic and unique Mexican food so if you only care for “chain” type Mexican places that do everything the same then you probably won’t like it here. The salsa is different from anything I’ve ever had but it is so delicious! And don’t sleep on their homemade tortilla chips. DELICIOUS! My husband and I always get the Queso Fundido. It is phenomenal. The margaritas are amazing (we normally have a few). They have a limited menu right now but I promise you it’s worth it. If you have a bad experience here then you must have caught them on a bad day and I would try again. It’s a small operation so be patient. We have to keep little local places like this alive!

Great place, really good food. The pork belly tacos were amazing, and the guacamole was the best I’ve had. Shayla was fast and attentive. This place is a really good find

I really wanted to love this place, and sadly forgot to take photos of my shrimp tacos. The outside is super cute and the quaint, trendy, contemporary vibe inside is aesthetically pleasing. The menu, prices, construct of the tacos was extremely disappointing. Over priced, bland black beans, no homemade hot sauces, like what? Our server was attentive, gave suggestions and fast, friendly service. The shrimp in the tacos was too large, overcooked and there was too much sauce and whatever else they put in the shell to get any flavor or enjoyment out of eating it as it just fell apart and made the corn tortilla soggy. This is just a lack of better options Mexican want to be place.

Great service, fresh ingredients and amazing recipes! The owners are so sweet. Every time I have a shrimp taco, it leaves me wanting more! The chips are the best I’ve ever had… Same with the guac.

Bad value proposition. I’ve been to Azul several times throughout the years. Tonight I ordered the $18.00 shrimp burrito. It was comically small and came with zero sides. Just a tiny burrito on a plate with maybe a total of 4 shrimp inside. Admittedly the flavor was great. It was delicious. I was done in 2 minutes. They also charge “market price” for guacamole. Tonight’s market price was $15.00. Get real. Again, the food is good tasting, but the price to value ratio is not good. For the record, I told my waitress about my gripe with the burrito. She was nice, and nodded, but didn’t rectify the situation in any way or send over any other staff.

Great spot just outside the city. Super yummy! Simple food done really well. Recommend the pork belly tacos. Steak fajita also amazing. Cozy fun atmosphere. Skinny margaritas were perfect too! Oh and our server was great!

I would rate this place 5 stars, but honestly the hours are insanely inconvenient if god forbid you cant make it for the gray hair 5 o’clock special. Closed at 8pm outside of Friday/Saturday with the kitchen closed for orders at 7:30pm. Want a margarita on a Friday night ? Drink up quick, closing time is a very generous 9pm on weekends. Please extend your hours! I love your burritos and drinks.
