Mainly here to see one of our favorite bands, Up Til 4. Had to feel a bit sorry for them as the stage was tiny. Disappointed that there was no food service. Maybe because of the band but no food or table service. But band was great and made do with the cramped conditions. Bar service was fast and simple. My going back would be totally based on the entertainment. Only got a table because I knew someone with empty seats at theirs

I’ve been to this restaurant a few times before and usually enjoyed the food. However, recently I happened to walk by and noticed through the glass that the kitchen staff were preparing food without wearing gloves.
It was disappointing to see, especially after having a good experience before. I hope the management pays attention to proper hygiene and food safety standards. Cleanliness in the kitchen is really important for customers’ trust.

The worst experience i’ve ever had in a bar. The drinks were horrible and extremely watered down. It was crowded and hard to breathe, but the real issue lies in the staff. My friends and I were up on the roof top where everyone else was and out of nowhere this man comes and grabs my drink out of my hand as I was drinking it. I had alcohol all over me and was extremely confused. He then started SCREAMING at me, i’m not talking about just raising his voice, he was screaming in my face. He was insisting that I never showed my ID and needed to leave. I did show my ID at the front before I got let in just fyi. As I am trying to explain the situation to him and look in my purse to give him my ID. He starts SHOVING ME, keep in mind I am a 5’1 women, 110 pounds. He then grabs my friend and starts shoving the both of us down the stairs. We left and will never be back. This behavior is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. This place needs to take a real good look at their staff and how they treat people. He’s lucky I didn’t just call the cops, because I was close to. He has to have some real anger issues to be treating people like that. That was not the first time i’ve been to that bar and have had no issues prior. He was definitely having a bad night and ruined mine. Wish I could rate this place a zero.

Sending in a review because it seems my friend’s review was taken down. Such a shame this place has become, if you’re lucky to get a good drink that’s cool! 95% of the time it’s undrinkable. That’s whatever in my opinion. Their service is what’s absolutely diabolical. Talked to a bartender who gave us the green light to go upstairs, there were chairs by a gate and we sat there. We were causing absolutely no trouble, just vibing with our birthday girl. This bartender comes up and begins screaming at us and I don’t mean “hey get out of here.” I mean exercising his vocal cords and screaming like we were 50 feet away. We calmly told him we can go, there must have been a miscommunication because HE TOLD US we can come upstairs and his power trip was definitely not over because he proceeds to stomp over to my friend and rip the drink out of his hand and puts his hands on him. Look. I don’t want to bring race into this… but in this political environment it feels necessary. The only person this bartender targeted was our black friend. The only drink he threw was our black friend and the only person he was putting his hands on was my black friend. He was continuously putting his hands on him as well, while we were calmly exiting and walking down the stairs he was SHOVING him as if we weren’t already moving. This man has STRONG anger issues and should not be working there if he can’t handle the calmest of customers. It got to a point our friend has to tell him, “if you put your hands on me one more time I will defend myself” there shouldn’t have even been a first time!!! STOP DELETING OUR REVIEWS, I am copying this and plan to continue posting it if it gets deleted.

It is hard to beat this place when it comes to listening to live music. Some of the bands are really good and you can also get certain alcohol selections at a very reasonable price. The food is typical pub grub. If you go for the live music, try to arrive early enough to get a table or a good place to stand.

Great little place where the drinks are priced right. Inside you will also find a Mr zubs deli. The food is just right fpr bar food. You can watch the BROWNS games on sunday. Join the kent browns backers for 10 bucks . there are prizes and and the occasional sports star will make an appearance. Just met ufc heaby weight champ of the world Stipe miocic there. Clevelands own. Come on out ..

I have only been to Water street a handful of times and each time was not the best experience. Inside the building my phone never works.. while I’ve never had their food, drink prices are decent.. however they get 3 stars from me because the last time I was in there, I ordered a Long Island (my go to), but I don’t really drink soda anymore so if I can remember, I tend to ask the bartender to swap for something else and grenadine or something but before I could ask her to change it, she had already loaded the cup with coke before anything else.. now, I’m not a professional bartender but I do order Long Island a lot and usually the coke is the last thing to go in and usually just a splash.. I decided to keep it anyway.. after a couple of sips I was already over it.. I eventually took the drink back up to the bar to see if they would remake the drink for me.. I saw another bartender that I’ve only heard good things about.. I asked her with the other girl there, and instead of remaking it, they only offered to add more sours to it.. I honestly didn’t want that, as it wouldn’t do anything but just intensify the already unwanted taste.. they both were adamant! So I accepted it.. sure enough I still ended up not wanting it. That drink could have sent me into a diabetic coma. Thankfully my drink was only $4 that night so not much was lost but the service could have been better!
