Winston’s launched in March 2023. It was co-launched by the former personal Chef to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II (for 11 years)… who was also the Head Chef of Buckingham Palace and The House of Windsor. He later went on to become the personal Chef to Diana Spencer, the Princess of Wales, for another four years (until the tragedy). He crafted the menu at Winston’s and trained our Staff how to make these gobsmacking, delicious meals, which were in line with the recipes he served to the Royal Family and Heads of State from around the world at Buckingham Palace. We invite all to come and experience this heavenly food! Please tell all your friends!!!

Her sense of humor made us laugh a lot.We ordered fish and chips, and was delicious! So far,for us,the best fish and chips we’ve ever tried. All fresh, well cooked (not oily chips, gooey fish or flat batter)
Our first experience with British style fish and chips was great, and we will be back.Hope the next time is as good as this!
Sorry America, the British food truck is winning here.
( the food experience is different for everyone,so go and try it)
Food was BAD! My first 1 star review. This was the worst fish and chips I have ever had. And the worst meal I have had in a very long time. The fish was so incredibly over cooked and tasted like it may have been fried in bad old oil. It was inedible. On top of that they missed items in all 4 meals we ordered. Both fish and chip meals were missing the coleslaw and both the kids meals had no cookies. The fries were also cold. Like they had sat out a very long time. I’m seriously blown away about how bad it was. I don’t take giving this kind of review lightly, but I would give zero stars if that was an option.
The man working there was nice, and no issue with the service or ordering process.
Fish: The batter was light, crispy, and well seasoned; it was exactly what I hoped for.⭐️
Chips: Beautiful curl and pillowy texture. Best type of potato shape to be paired with the fish pieces.⭐️
Chowder: The fish chowder had good fish chunks but the texture was thicker and grainier than I expected. Taste was alright, not as much flavor as I would have liked.✖️
Wings: Saucy, sticky, sweet, spicy chicken wings. Very pleasantly surprised and I would definitely order this again on its own.⭐️
Steak & Ale pie: Not included in the feast but I ordered it extra because I wanted to try it. I saw a review days ago that warned to pass on the pie but I was still curious as it seems the owner responded and issued a fix.
What I WAS NOT prepared for was a frozen pie.
The top was golden brown but as I pulled the pie out my hand was met with a cold and visibly frozen bottom. It wasn’t a huge deal to me because I was home and popped it into the air fryer. The picture of the punctured pie was after 6min in the fryer at 390F and I was checking if it was done, it was not and the meat was visible stuck together and still frozen. After an additional 4min, the pie was done and overall flavor was good but the meat was dry. Although unsure if this is the norm since I was served a frozen pie and had to reheat it myself with no instruction. ✖️
Edit (in reply to owner response): Yes, “Nainoa” was the party order name. I appreciate that you respond to reviews and put care in your quality. I did see that the batch was pulled and will visit in a few weeks to try the correct batch, hopefully prepared correctly as well. Again, as in my review, the fish & chips and the wings are definitely worth to come back for!
Not only does Winston’s have delicious and tasty well portioned fish n chips, they also have many hidden gems on their menu.
I recommend the sausage rolls with their special mustard if you’re looking for something simple but oh so tasty!
The smoked cod clam chowder is a flavor party in your mouth!
If you’re a sauce lover I recommend the wicked sticky sauce that is great on their wings and chicken nuggets.
Overall a great experience, wonderful tastes and reasonably priced.
Fish and potato chips were perfect.
The wings were sweet and spicy.
First time trying the peas and I liked it.
I was never a fan of curry and theirs was so yummy.
And the tartar sauce was creamy.
We waited 15 minutes for our food to be ready, which is not bad on a Saturday lunchtime.
Would be back for sure.
Definitely would come back – 2 thumbs up
