We had lunch on a Sunday after church at Rice Box recently. We were greeted as we walked in and we were seated quickly. Our server was nice and the food was good. We ordered three entrees: Thai Basil Chicken, Spicy Orange Peel Chicken and a Hawaii Roll. Everything tasted great and the portions were very large. We were satisfied with everything and would definitely visit again since the menu is large with plenty of choices.

Door dashed from Rice Box a couple of times. Food is always delivered quickly without any errors and it’s always good, but not great, hence the 4 stars.
I don’t know if it’s just how their doordash platform is set up or not, but they don’t allow modifications or subs. I personally don’t enjoy mushrooms and many of their dishes have mushrooms. If I was able to request no mushrooms I would probably try more dishes.

My family loves Rice Box! We eat here pretty often. My son and I love the sweet potato roll and fried dumplings. We usually split the chicken lo mien because it’s a lot of food.
The hot saki is great on a cold day!

This place is really nice. The sushi couldn’t get any better! Delicious. The place is nice and clean. Managed very well. Some of the best sushi I’ve had in a long time. The service however is a different story. Not to friendly. Who cares sushi is bomb. Will definitely be back. They will overcharge you. So check your receipt. They charged me $7 for a 12 oz beer. Receipt said 22 is beer. Be aware

After almost 2 hours, no refills, and an attitude from the staff, we left. I understand it’s Christmas Day, and Chinese is all that’s open, BUT this should tell any business owner that you’re going to be busy. There were 2 tables there when we, a party of 6, arrived at 4:17p: a party of 8 that already had their food and a party of 2. There were two groups of 6 that came in after us and maybe 5 tables of 2-3 each within 30 minutes of us placing our order. Both groups and a table that came in after us had eaten and left before our ticket was ever pulled by the cooks. I’m sure this is a lovely, lively restaurant, but we won’t be back due to the sheer attitude from the staff when asked about a potential ETA of food to table and were met with “everyone here was before you and has been waiting an hour too” when there were only 2 tables there before us. Unprofessional. Unkind. Yet I still paid for our drinks because it’s the right thing to do. I would not recommend going here if they’re busy. Your ticket may be lost, and you may never get your meal like we experienced tonight.

At recommendations from friends, we decided to dine here, expecting great tasting food. We were sorely disappointed with this experience.
The lady that took our order never smiled and was a bit unfriendly. We ordered the Hibachi chicken and steak (Me) and my wife ordered the Pineapple Thai Chicken.
The food arrived and although it was pleasing to the eye to look at, the taste was in a different direction. My chicken and steak was cold and my wife’s dish wasn’t at all what we expected.
Even my fortune cookie was empty!
The price we paid was not worth what we experienced.
People may have other experience more positive, but we will not be eating there again. In our opinion, if you want great service and fabulous Chinese food in Denver, go to Rice Bowl.

I ordered 3 large hot and sour soups last night through insta cart. First off it was not cooked properly and did not taste that great. However, that was the lesser of my concerns bc while eating my soup I found a wire in my soup.

A LARGE variety of food, if you can’t find something that you like here, then you probably shouldn’t be going to Asian restaurants, because they have plenty to choose from here and it’s all delicious. I’m not a sushi fan, but my wife and kids are and they love the sushi here as well.

I asked for crispy potstickers, the young lady asked pan-fried? I said yes and crispy. They came out soggy. We asked for extra crispy sesame chicken, they may have been but the sauce was so heavy and thick, I couldn’t tell what I was eating. Broccoli was cold, sauce on everything was overpowering. People were nice but I’m not sure I’ll go back.
