I manage the Huntington Bank on the other side of town and had planned a COI lunch here months ago not knowing they were closed. Now that they are back open, I of course rescheduled that COI lunch here! We were both excited to finally try the place, and are glad we did!!
First off, it’s in a beautiful spot of town, and it’s on a quieter part of the street so there was parking readily available- right at a busy lunch hour on a Friday!
The blow-up is super cute, and made me laugh when the wind blew and I had to wrestle it to get in the door.
Ordered the fried chicken sandwich- add tomato and lettuce, with ranch dressing.
It was SO GOOD. Fried to perfection and on crispy toasted bread. The ranch was a perfect touch, and it was GOOD ranch. always bonus points if the ranch is good.
Cute quiet atmosphere inside, and the vintage gumball machine was adorable.
Definitely will frequent this spot for future lunches!

Varied breakfast options, well cooked and seasoned food, and fast, friendly service. The home fries were crispy and soft- do recommend! French toast was perfect: soft, buttery, and not overly sweet. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was one over easy egg(last photo) which had some spooky-looking and unappetizing spots. The waiter affirmed that she saw blueberry pancakes being cooked on the same pan. I believe her, and she did offer to bring a fresh one, but it had given me the ick and I had lost my appetite. Thankfully it was the last one and I was able to enjoy most of my breakfast. Isolated incident, which is why I gave it a 4 stars but everything else was wonderful.
I do recommend this place and look forward to coming back for their sandwiches.

Great location. Super friendly and personable staff. I wasn’t crazy about the breakfast burrito because they stuff so many potatoes in there (im assuming cost effective) and barely had any eggs or the meat. Pretty much a potato burrito. I’m sure other menu items are better.

I don’t know what happened, but since the renovations, the food quality has gone dramatically down and so has the service. Me and my companion walks in. We have one young lady who seems to be putting her coat away as she just got there. We have another young lady who’s taken care of business, then we have one who’s standing at the counter, talking to a young man and gives us the dirtiest nastiest unwelcoming, look ever. And then has the nerve to proceed to push us off onto a young lady who seemed to have just gotten on sight not once, but several times and then makes statements “oh you can take them”…is that what your location has come to?.. Highly doubtful I shall return. All customers should get same treatment. Not just the one who smiles and sits at the counter
SN(the young lady who help us was a pleasant delight)…

I’m from Italy, and I use to go to Pittsburgh every year for around 3 months. And every time, I go for lunch there pretty much every day. And I love to sit at the counter, and chat with the owner lady. The dishes are typical American style. Simple, abundant and cheap. And the soups are fabulous. I really miss that place, and I hope to be able to go there soon…

I try to come get breakfast at least once a week and it is never disappointing. Food is always delicious and hot. Service is always friendly (s/o to Britney! And the others are very nice and sweet as well) and on nice days I bring the pup to their outside area and he loves them all when they bring his bacon.

This is the friendliest local small town place to eat in a big city! These ladies are so kind and clearly love their patrons and each other. Our food was hot and Delicious! Prices were fair and the atmosphere was relaxed. They have free parking in an empty lot across the street. We will be returning soon!
