That being said, i can’t lie, when the food did come out it was pretty good. It has a unique crunch to it that I wasn’t expecting! I don’t know what exactly makes this korean other than that there is soy sauce and garlic on the sauce I got, but it was still good! Place is clean and the food is good and I will try it again. For now, though, I am not happy that my order was just forgotten though.

Took an hour to get our entire order.
When we came in, we had had a long day and wanted Bonchon after having a fantastic experience at the other Tempe location.
The restaurant was empty.
20 mins into our wait we were told it would take another 20 minutes because they can only do one flavor at a time.
We ordered 30 soy garlic wings, 8 drum sticks, and 20 of the sweet and spicy flavor wings and a bibimbap.
Meanwhile a group of college kids came in and ordered. Sat down and got their orders before ours. Another couple comes in and waits for theirs. Someone else comes in and orders take out and gets their order and leaves.
The cashier was nice enough to bring us the orders as they came out so we could eat what was ready. An hour later, we were told we’d have to wait a few more minutes for our drumsticks.
We were given two free Korean doughnuts and 30% off a future order coupons for our trouble.
Sadly disappointed with the entire experience. The wings were also overly breaded. The bibimbap was also cold and did not taste right.
We’ll stick to the other Tempe location.
It took over 30 minutes to come and it was a real disappointment. The wings were room temp, the udon was hot, and the corn dog came out like 10-15 minutes after our regular food came out.
The wings were all breading, the corn dog was too doughy on the inside (the outside looked burnt), and the udon was fine, nothing spectacular.
Not worth our $30 and over a 30 minute wait for noodles, wings, and a corn dog.
Tried out Bonchon near ICC Masjid, and it was a solid experience! The Bulgogi beef was tasty, packed with scallions inside and on top—so that covered my veggie intake for the meal. I do wish it had more sauce, especially since I’m comparing it to the authentic Korean BBQ spot my friend Eddie’s family owned back in high school. That said, the rice was cooked perfectly—not too mushy or hard.
The real star of the show? The fried chicken! I ordered six wings, half in YANG-NYEOM style and half Soy Garlic. Both flavors were absolutely delicious. I only ate half of each dish to control portions and saved the rest for later (even logged it for my nutritionist, who might be tempted to try this spot!).
The location is great—right on the SW corner of 7th St & Myrtle. The open floor-to-ceiling sliding door provided a nice view of “A” Mountain and the historic Governor Benjamin Moeur Residence.
Overall, a solid experience. I’d definitely come back!

Service was great, atmosphere was also amazing; wings themselves are also not bad… but not worth it with the price.
