My first time here (I’m new to the area) so I’m not exactly certain what to expect.
The woman at the register greeted me immediately & was pleasant. And my order came fairly quickly.
The interior is pretty typical of a fast-food style restaurant: mostly fixed booths with some accessible tables & chairs.
Loving a steak & cheese sandwich, I ordered the mushroom steak & cheese. I got it to go and made the 5 minute drive home.
It was just warm when I got there so I had to pop it into the nuke-o-matic for about 40 seconds to get it to a decent temp. Leave it in the paper & the bread won’t dry out.
The amount of cheese I found quite light. Wasn’t expecting tomato in there either but it worked.
(Edit: my third time in, second with this sandwich and it still needs more cheese, quite a bit more. And lose the ‘tomater’)
I’ll be going back to try some other choices and will adjust if needed.

Giving 5 stars so people will read it. We ordered 2 jumbo subs which supposed to double meat and double cheese. Definitely not a hearty sub even after spending 34 dollars on 2 subs. Firehouse is better and truly give you a robust sub.

The only tubbys we go to. Normally the drive thru option. Never have any issues. Food always tastes great. I’m a picky eater and have a lot taken off my Italian sub but it’s always made correctly. Wish the prices would stop going up.

Went inside today to place a carry out order , a large Tubbys Famous sub with dressing on the side .
I was very disappointed once I got home to eat it .
The sub bun seemed old and the sub had very little ingredients inside , just a very lame sub for sure .
I was the only one in the place when I placed my order so they definitely could have done better since they weren’t busy at all .
I’ll stick with Jersey Mikes and Penn Station from now on for a deli style sub .

They didn’t honor a coupon that was specifically for their location for ANY 2 subs. Then the subs we did get were disgusting. I actually threw mine away. We will never go back there!

I had great service this afternoon by a gentleman in the drive-through. He was very positive about the cheese sticks and said they made homemade ranch. Both turned out to be true and I was very thankful for his enthusiasm about the food he is selling.

They always make a good sub at this Tubbys. Bread always fresh, proper amount of meat, cheese, and other toppings. Always hot and delicious! I pass two other tubbys locations to eat here. Always clean dining room.

Why advertise bread that you never have. Had to get my pepper steak and cheese in a wrap. Hardly any filling and you didn’t put dressing on either sandwich. Given this location a few chances, but no more. Between never having items and rude staff…..BYE
