Amazing food and a perfect small-town cafe atmosphere! The dining room was clean with a neat vintage diner vibe. The wait staff was polite and attentive. The food was delicious, hot, and reasonably priced. I got the roast beef special, which I highly recommend. The restaurant owner, who was also the chef that day, came out to apologize personally when my wife’s hamburger was made with cheese, which was very nice. The strawberry rhubarb pie was excellent as well. We’ll be back soon!

Stopped for the first time as traveling threw area. Great home town atmosphere. Great food with great price point. Loved they still have French dressing. If ever in area will stop again.

This cafe was everything I hoped it would be from the Elvis pictures on the walls, right down to the checkered floor. Food was excellent. The Spanish omelet has got to be in my top 3 of best I’ve ever had, and the hash browns were perfectly browned and crispy on top – the way hash browns ought to be but very seldom are. The cook even obliged me and browned my sausage patty till it was nearly burned, just the way I like it. The coffee was hot and strong enough and the milk was cold. The locals are friendly but mind their own business. No one asked where I’m from nor where I’m headed. 10/10 I will stop here again when in the area.

Typical small town dinner. Good food, huge portions, fast friendly service. My parents drive there at least once a week for the catfish which they truly enjoy, would recommend if you are stuck on what to choose.

Great little cafe! Got the special; roast beef with mashed potatoes, gravy, peas, salad & a roll. Even included a piece of cake for dessert & all for only $8.75. Everything was delicious and tasted like good down home comfort food. Also had several pies to choose from for dessert. Waitress was polite and helpful. Definitely recommend if you’re passing through or even just as a short day trip get away from Wichita for a couple hours.

Great traditional diner. Extremely pleasant and helpful waitress. Old, but clean and well kept interior. All American comfort food made when you order it. The “Star Burger” (burger/ham/bacon/cheese) was a good choice, served hot and fresh with tots, a little salad before and a little chocolate cake after, a drink, and all for $10.

The bacon cheeseburger was amazing. We had a little hiccup with our food, the wait staff, owner and cooks corrected the problem immediately. I would recommend this cafe, all around very nice people and all the customers were very friendly and welcoming.
