Taco Zócalo is absolutely amazing! The food is incredibly delicious—especially the birria tacos and the chimichangas, which were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. On top of the great food, the service was excellent. Federico took great care of us and made the experience even better with his friendly and attentive service. The guacamole was incredibly fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is bold, colorful, and full of character, and the furniture is comfortable and high quality. I got beef chimichangas, beef and shrimp tacos and a Baja fish Cali Burrito. We got it to go and even in single digit weather the food was still hot and fresh when we got home. Let me start by saying the Cali Burrito is the most soul satisfying burrito I’ve ever had in my life. It includes seasoned fries, guacamole and with the hot sauce it hit every flavor profile I ever craved for. I already miss the second burrito before I finished my first one. The corn tortilla for the taco is how every taco should taste like. If you haven’t had it yet, then you’ve never had a taco yet. The portion size was perfect, I love how generous they are with the fresh veggies and sides. I felt healthy while eating it bc everything tastes so herbal fresh. It’s also easy to order online and customize everything exactly how you like it and my order came out exactly as how I ordered it. This is not something I take for granted anymore, so please don’t ever change!

I ended up paying 38 for my burrito. The staff member was told I did the tap payment to quickly and it wasn’t in there system yet.
I had the card transactions on my phone as proof but they wanted to pay again with the same card and get refunded but that didn’t make since. I just gave them a 20 doller tip and this 1 star review because I’m not happy with this outcome. And I’m pretty sure I’m not getting a refund.

These the BEST tacos. Very delicious and full of flavor. The restaurant is clean and lively. Great music. Alejandra works at the front counter and served me. She’s very sweet and helpful. Excellent customer service. I highly recommend this place. I cannot wait to return!

Best birria tacos (and consommé!!!) I’ve ever had, every time, consistently. Their salsas made in-house are rich and delicious—so much so that I save my extra takeout packets for later use. (Note that you can purchase bottles of their salsas.) Everyone I’ve interacted with behind the counter has been genuinely kind and helpful. The booths are comfortable to sit in and the atmosphere is warm with plenty of light coming through the windows. You don’t have to worry about obnoxiously loud music blasting from the speakers here. To top it all, they’ve recently introduced a point system that allows you to get discounts on your order every once in awhile. To conclude, Taco Zocalo is, in my humble opinion, an all-around wonderful Mexican food establishment. Do check out the Reston location as well.
