From the moment I arrived, everything felt special. The entire experience was truly wonderful, with incredible attention to detail and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
I didn’t try the sake, but the wine recommendations were absolutely excellent and paired beautifully with the meal. Every suggestion was thoughtful and showed real knowledge and care.
What made the evening even more memorable was the staff. They were outstanding from start to finish: attentive, kind, and genuinely warm. They made me feel completely at home, and that level of hospitality is rare to find.
The food, the service, the atmosphere everything came together perfectly. I honestly wished the dinner could last forever.
I will definitely be back. Thank you for such a beautiful experience.
What makes it even more special are the hosts – warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They create an atmosphere that is not only inviting but also makes you feel part of something very personal and unique.
For anyone searching for a real Japanese culinary experience, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!
The food, the atmosphere, the impeccable service, Gabi, the seating, the vibe, the music—did I mention Gabi?
We were absolutely dazzled. Every dish was prepared with such care, and each bite was a burst of flavor. The entire evening flowed effortlessly, thanks to the genuinely cool and welcoming vibe the hosts created. By the end of the night, we were singing “Happy Birthday” and posing for a Polaroid, sad that the experience had come to an end.
For context: I’m a New York snob who is very picky about the quality of sushi and the overall omakase experience (see my other review on Kabuki Lisboa). I’ve been to many top spots, and Ri Omakase still completely blew me away. The food is indescribably good, but it’s the full experience that makes it truly magical.
And trust me, I hate crowds and small talk with strangers. It’s not my thing. But at Ri? It felt different. Comfortable. Special.
Just be sure to book well in advance. We had the 9:30 p.m. seating and didn’t get home until after midnight—Gabi and team, thank you for such a gracious and unforgettable night!
For 90 euro pp, I would say this experience is definitely worth it. I’ve never had a better scallop in my life, it was insane. But, the rest of the courses were amazing as well. The yuzu elderflower lemonade was also very good.
Would definitely recommend to come here if you’re craving sushi.
Highly recommend the sake pairing, but a good glass of wine or beer goes down just as well. I hope to come back again as soon as possible and share with a new group of friends. Shoutout to Gabi; I wish I could bottle up her spirit and take it home with me. She is THE sweetest soul and your guide through the evening while the gentlemen quietly bring gastronomic magic to your mouth. This place is really something special.
