Fantastic Jamaican food served by a wonderful owner and his family.

We came with a small group for lunch on a Saturday, it was quiet when we arrived but by the time we were leaving it was getting busy.

The staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful with their menu.

The food is standout, absolutely amazing.

11/10 food. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat. A true gem.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Flavor of Jamaica tonight. We both ordered the jerk chicken. It was great and very tasty ,collard greens and macaroni and cheese and rice were all on point. The owners were very cordial and it’s a great place to have a dinner with lots of flavor. Definitely would recommend

My wife and I ate at this place a few hours before close and the food was still so good. The curry chicken was tender. The oxtail was delicious. The stew chicken was flavorful. Sides were all made fresh and steaming. This is the spot if you really want the home made taste of the Caribbean. Will be going back.

I started getting food from here 2 years ago and it’s been some changes at the customer’s expense that’s less satisfactory. I always get the oxtails. The entree container use to be full of oxtails and gravy in the main portion then the sides would be filled accordingly. Now they put the oxtails in the sides portion of the container so you get significantly less. I only had had 6 oxtails…2 of which were the tiny pieces. I paid $40. 6 oxtails, a little cabbage and rice. My food was also cold which it never used to be. I’m just disappointed. I use to rave about this place smh

Dropped in while driving by because I smelt the food smoking out front and I just couldn’t resist. First time trying this joint, and regret not stopping in sooner. Absolutely delicious!!! I got the jerk chicken dinner with rice, and got the sauce on the side- very glad I did. It is quite sassy so I needed very little LOL. The lady who took my order was very friendly as well. This will be a new go to for me for sure.

Authentic Jamaican flavor. Food was flavorful and not too heavy or oily. Staff are really nice. Non alcoholic drinks so delicious. The restaurant itself was really clean. I Will definitely go back again.

The Vegan dishes SLAP!! I couldn’t decide between the Curried Jackfruit or the Flavors Mushrooms so I got them both. They are BOTH on point and full of flavor!!! Yams, cabbage and jollof rice are tasty!! Raggae punch…so good!!

I had my daughter stop and order the chicken stew, beans and rice, and collards. It was my first time ordering, and the previous reviews were very favorable.
I would generally address food issues directly with management. However, the eating experience was so dreadful that I need to speak out.
The chicken stew with vegetables were very overcooked, and was hardly Jamaican in taste. There were shards of bones throughout the dish. I don’t care for overcooked, or food that has sat on the warmer for hours. The beans and rice was simply a few beans in flavorless rice. If you’ve had beans and rice from Popeye’s, you’ll be disappointed in this offering. The collards were actually fantastic, very tasty and edible.
I gave high praise for the facility and friendly service. However, they’ll probably never get my attention again.

The Jamaican vibes take over when you walk in with the cool beach breeze and music that make your hips move to the beat. I do really appreciate the colorful atmosphere with full wall size pictures of the beach. There are tables to eat inside with full service. It is also a popular take out spot, you can place orders ahead.
I ordered the traditional jerk chicken with Jamaican rice and vegetables. The chicken was spicy, more than I liked and it was very fatty. The rice was good, however the vegetables were slopped on top of the rice and made everything juicy. Not a great presentation. Also the vegetables are more of a slaw than veggies. But I would go back for a million more plantain orders.

First time experiencing this location. We live 45 minutes away but decided to order when we arrived. Great atmosphere and I love how we have the option to watch them prepare our food while wait for our carry out. My only negative is our wait time, we arrived at 12:45 and left at 2:30. Our order was fairly big which is why I’m not upset with our wait. We ordered the usual, curry goat and oxtail dinners. We also ordered jerk shrimp, pepper steak, shrimp rasta pasta, coco bread and reggae punch (which I drank before I could take the pic of the beautiful drink). Definitely recommend!
