First time visiting this place. The service is very friendly and helpful. Everyone has a smile and is cheery. I got a standard breakfast platter and it was a bit lackluster. Everything tastes like it’s premade. It’s a chain/franchise so I understand that they have a certain standard that they must use but sheesh, it was all underwhelming. Every food item except for the eggs is obviously premade and that makes sense but throwing it on the grill for a minute or two to make it hot would go a long ways. It felt like it was scooped out of a warming tray and straight onto the plate. I can see why people enjoy coming here. Maybe next time I will go for a waffle or something that I know needs to be cooked to order. And the b&g gravy is gross.
*Update to response. My name is not Victoria but thanks for responding. If the server would have revisited my table after receiving my food, I may have opted to say something. She was busy with tickets and making more decaf coffee and I was not in a timely position to wait for a remake on my order. If the standard of service was better, I wouldn’t have to wait for a remake. Hot breakfast food should be served hot. Isn’t that the standard? Thanks for the passive aggressive response. Made my day.

Me and my wife visited for brunch. I had the the Boom BLT and my wife had a breakfast platter. Don’t know the name of her plate. I was really disappointed the way my $9 BLT looked. I would expect my bun to look like this from a low cost fast food restaurant off a $1 menu. (Check out the pic of my BLT). The bun had a sweet taste to it, lettuce was on one side and tomato on the other. It was mediocre at best. Brought this to the staff. Letting them know that just two slices of toast would have been better. I will not be getting this again. This is the second time visiting. The first time I went, I had eggs and waffles. Waffles were to my taste, undercooked. I had it replaced, to find out, it came out the same way.
Some of the dishes are good… I just had a hard time enjoying my brunch.

Eggs Up Grill is a very cozy place to grab some breakfast. We went after my youngest son performed with the youth orchestra group at St Paul’s Baptist Church. The food was filling and there are plenty of options to choose from. I was impressed with the different options of tea they had available too. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and you can tell she actually eats there. I’ll definitely be going back to try different things they have to offer.

Eggs Up Grill you charged 28.00 dollars for this trash?? The order was build your own breakfast sandwich, bacon (extra bacon) and cheddar on toast and a sausage egg and cheddar on muffin. The cheese on the bacon and toast was pretty much non- existent and clearly no extra bacon. No egg on the muffin, sausauge patties were were rock hard and cheese put in a side cup. Eggs Up Grill is this the Quality of food you really want to serve your customers?!?! It’s a shame to spend with tip (which wasn’t warranted) over 30.00 for what was served to me. DO BETTER!!! I certainly will never come to your restaurant again and advise anyone I know to avoid your establishment!!! Ridiculous!!!!

Good food, good price though some portions seemed small. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. It was good but I wanted more steak and more gravy. I got what I paid for. Service was a bit slow however was very pleasant. I had never been here before and needed the time to look over the menu. Most definitely will give them another go!

I love this restaurant. They have a wide variety of breakfast and lunch items. It is very easy to get things ‘made your way’ leaving out meat for vegetarians and or adding substitutions. Everything freshly cooked, arriving to you hot off the grill and absolutely delicious. Even though they are very busy all the employees work together so that customers receive food efficiently and they take the time to get to know their customers. Everyone is so nice and friendly, it is the happiest place I know to eat in Richmond/ Midlothian area. I can’t say enough good things about Eggs Up Grill.

Came here for a celebratory brunch with a friend! I was not disappointed. I usually order and get it delivered. I am so happy I had the opportunity to eat in. The service was amazing. The food was piping hot! The food was well seasoned. There were options for vegetarians and pescatarians as well. The bathrooms were well Stocked and clean.

First the good: The drinks were delicious and the service was fantastic. The croissant donuts were really good as well the three count was perfect to share with another. Now the bad: The food portions were tiny we added a fruit cup for an additional charge to our meal and it came out in a tiny plastic condiment cup with barely any fruit, the biscuits and gravy barely had any gravy on it and didn’t taste like normal gravy almost as if it had to much butter or flour in it, the chairs for the tables aren’t that comfortable and when we both left we both had upset stomachs.
