Had my son’s 2nd birthday this weekend. Gen and Gina were amazing. They were so accommodating and thoughtful. The food was delicious, space was awesome. Will definitely be hosting more parties here!

Stopped for late lunch/early dinner on Friday of the Ryder Cup with my daughter and father. Bar was busy with patrons watching the match. Sat outside with my dog at one of the 3 outside tables. Seating was nice, especially with the dog because they have a barrier between the tables and the rest of the sidewalk. Had to go inside to order beer and food at first. Server did bring out the food and drinks after.
I had the Prime Steakhouse Burger and the other 2 had the Juciy Lucy burger. All were order medium rare. The server came out and explained the 2 Juciy Lucy burgers needed to be cooked more than med rare to melt the cheese inside. All 3 burger came out on the well side of medium well…but they were great!(that’s why I gave 5 stars for the food) Very juciy with awesome flavor. The server and some of the staff were very friendly and had to come out and say high to the dog.
Bill came to $106 for the 3 burgers, 4 drafts (60 minute IPAs) and 2 High Noons.
Will definitely go again next time I am in town.

Another incredible experience at Dark Horse! After having my husband’s 40th surprise party in June 2025, we decided to book another party there for my father in laws 70th!! Genevieve took care of all of our details, answering all of our questions (and easing our worries about the weather!). Regina was so helpful and incredible ensuring our guests were fed, happy, and taken care of! Our guests loved her!! Nick and Jared were on top of all drink orders and everyone was so impressed with their service. The staff created such a warm environment and we had so many compliments from the guests!! Not to mention, the space is awesome!!

This has to be one of the absolute worst locations I’ve ever been to of the Dark Horse chain. The bartenders are absolutely miserable people, who will take your money with no problem but give you bullshit drinks. I sent a drink back because it had no liquor in it and he dumped it and remade another because he got caught and knew it. The female bouncer is nasty as hell and will give you dirty looks with her fake tough guy pompous attitude the entire night. They are all nasty, unfriendly people and the place is dirty☺️

bouncer wouldn’t let me in because “my id was fake”. i have been 21 for 6 months and have a real and valid id. i explained this to him and said he could call the cops if he thought my id was fake, to which he responded that i was stumbling so he couldn’t let me in. i am sober and have been for 2 months. i’ve had some good experiences at dark horse but will not be going back because of how rudely he treated me that night.

This place is a gem. Easily one of the best beer selections I’ve seen in Long Island. The food from IKE’s Burgers which is a food truck located in the back lot was insane. To start We order some chicken empanadas. I’m a sucker for corned beef so when I saw a Reuben I had to order it and it was exactly what I was looking for. We also order a chic-Phil-a with buttermilk fried chicken pickles onions and homemade chic filet sauce. Next level!!!! You could see everything is made fresh to order and homemade. The whole old school tavern vibe and the delicious food makes this a hidden gem. If I lived closer I’d be there multiple times a week

Attended a 30th birthday party last weekend. Had a private room with our own bartender. Alex. He was amazing. Drinks were great and never kept us waiting. Super nice guy. The cocktail food we had was delicious. Genn, the manager, was the best. From the planning to the execution, she was on top of everything. Everyone had a great time. Would definitely be back for future parties.
