During our 8 night stay in Siracusa, this was by far the best restaurant we have tried in Ortigia – we were so impressed with everything and left super happy. Honestly, the place had the friendliest staff who were polite and welcoming, unreal presentation, and the food was SO delicious. You will not regret going here. Highly recommended – thank you to the lovely team at Anchovies.

Great little restaurant nearby the water! Fish was very fresh and service was super friendly. The owner was so kind and gifted us the BEST oranges we ever tasted! We ran into her at a pasta shop the next day and she was still so friendly and kind. Highly recommend for food and service!

A very nice location on a beautiful little piazza, which results in a charming and romantic atmosphere. When you read the menu you get really impressed with the interesting dishes and the way they described them. The food was ok, but in no way spectacular- a bit bleak. I definitely expected more flavor. The staff war very nice and friendly, but when we asked for an advice about the wine our waiter had absolutely no idea. So all in all, a nice restaurant with a charming atmosphere, but nothing special.

An absolute gem. Must try. I had the fennel and anchovy salad, which was wonderfully light and fresh. Then I had the stuff squid, which was absolutely fantastic. Roberta recommended it, and I’m so grateful for it! Daniel, the owner is often present and he’s a very cool guy. I will certainly be back.

Reserved online but table wasnt locked in, still they where able to provide within a minute a table. Food was delivious. Tagliolini a bit expensive, desserts had a good pricing. Waiters and cook were super friendly and gave insights

Super kind waiting staff, cute little corner of a street and lovely authentic food – what else do you need? The anchovies were fantastic, and then we both had the stuffed calamari, which had an authentic, unique flavouring.
