Food was decent. Got the Ribs + Chicken Wings, and then a Sirloin Steak. Ribs were great. Sirloin was a bit tough. Spur Mashers were alright. Vegetables not good. Huge chunks of uncooked hard yellow squash. Servers were awesome though, Coleen was a doll. And the other order blonde lady was also great. Bread pudding was pretty good. And shout out to the kitchen staff for bumping house music and just trying to get through a busy service night. I think if they substituted the veggies for steamed broccoli, or long roasted carrots it would have made the dishes so much better. And paying $14.99 for a tiny Beer Glass that has a sticker on the bottom for $9.99 is definitely whacky. But overall the service was nice.

It’s a hard task, but I’m leaning into the best “crumbed” steak I’ve had in a very long time. My wife and I have been travelling this blue and green planet for over 8 months so I don’t make that comment lightly.
Great value for $$$, excellent service.
My wife had Country Cordon Bleu. 2 chicken breasts with not ham, but ham steaks. Got a “to go” box and now have the makings of a lunch sandwich for tomorrow.

Everything was delicious. We got ribeye, cheeseburger, grilled half chicken and dessert. Price was fair, portions were huge. Service was great, staff was very warm and friendly.

The food was very delicious and my family was very happy with their meals. The Mac and cheese seemed like a homemade recipe. The pasta was more on the soft side than al dented, but still maintained its structure. The cheese sauce was very creamy and had a surprising smokey taste over all. The Mac and cheese was topped off with amazingly smoked pieces of thick bacon topped with cheese and parsley. The chicken fried steak was a thick slice of steak that had a smokey taste to it. The steak was battered and fried fried perfectly. The steak was topped off with a delicious brown pan gravy. The chicken fried steak was very tender and perfectly cooked. The sirloin steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked to requested temperatures. Unfortunately the biscuits came out to the table burnt and the baked potatoes were over cooked and hard.
The restaurant is decorated in a rustic cowboy theme. My kids really got a kick over the mason jar glasses that the drinks were served in and the spur designs branded into the corners of the table. The only thing missing is the chuck wagon style tin plates.
The restaurant was very busy when we arrived, which to me is a good sign of a healthy restaurant serving food food. We were put on a long waiting list and we had to wait for about 45 minutes before we were seated at our table. The waiting area was furnished with couches and sofas which were very comfortable. The hostess and waitress were very courteous and very friendly. Watching how the staff interacted with each other suggested that they have an enjoyable working environment, which bleeds off to how they treat the customers.
In summary, The food was delicious, the portions were more than expected and no one in my party walked away hungry. Especially those that ordered from the kids menu. The environment was enjoyable and comfortable. I would recommend this steakhouse to anyone, and we will be back the next time we visit the area.

My wife and I ate here while staying at the hotel for one evening. I had the sirloin steak and my wife had the medallions and shrimp and both meals were really good. The side salad offered I felt was not up to par with the meal… it should have a broader variety of greens in my opinion…romaine and tomatoes doesn’t cuit. Service was good but the atmosphere was pretty basic,. We would definitely return for the steaks !

Visiting Capital Reef NP and received this recommendation from our hotel. Julie was our server and took great care of us. My wife and I split the filet medallions and each received our own vegetable and potato. Portion was perfectly delicious for splitting and the medallions were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.

We visited this accommodation a few years ago. The wagons and private bathrooms were great, but the breakfast was simply disappointing. They still produce huge piles of garbage, plastic cutlery, and paper dishes. The coffee was lukewarm, and for a vegetarian, there was only one type of bread and jam. There was no sign of fresh cinnamon rolls like years ago, and the fruit selection was limited to dried-out tangerines. I don’t expect much from a simple motel, but this place, with these prices, should rethink its concept, especially regarding environmental aspects.

My husband ordered a ribeye steak medium rare, but it came out as well done. We should have sent it back but we were hoping that it would get better as it got cut. And the meat was tough for $40 dish. Very disappointing.

Sadly took forever to get out food, over 30min. Steak was good but a bit chewy and the chicken cordon Blu was dry, cold and the waitress never came to check on us so I couldn’t ask for it to be redone. When I finally got her she said she could not do anything except give me $3.60 off and a tiny dessert they charge $8 for…the meal was $28 and I had 3 bites….I am very unhappy and shocked they didn’t comp the food as I didn’t eat it.
