Same food every day. People that serve your food looks like they hate GMU , and the sentiments are pass to us , the students. I asked for a chicken sandwich never got a text. When I went to ask, they said , they had none. The lady at the ice cream told me to hurry up and treated me like food was free. I am paying almost $4k semester for inadequate food and service. Do not recommend.

My first time dining here after hearing some bad things about the food. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor (I had bbq chicken) and especially liked the dessert choices available.
The only thing keeping me from making it 5 stars was that there was very little signage and with how crowded it was at lunch, I wandered for about 10 minutes before I figured out where to go.

i was here for a summer program and this was the place we were given to eat. the food was fine but there aren’t many options for picky eaters so i ate cereal half the time. when there was something that i would eat available, the food was alright at best and bland at worst. that being said i ate at panera and ordered dunkin donuts whenever possible

I have been eating food in the southside dining hall from 3 months. The food here is kinda bad cuz the food that they provide is always very bland. The ice-cream machine works once in a blue moon. When I want the hot chocolate, I got hot water in the machine. The French fries are always too hard to eat. The pizza is not cooked in the right temperature. The fruit section is nice but it is very cold, it is bad for the teeth. They always put the same food. There is a shortage of plates, bowls and other utensils. There is a different bad smell near the area where we put the plates for cleaning.

Food- if there is any, it’s dogshit. I’ve gotten better from a post Machelle Obama middle school cafeteria than I’ve ever got here
Service- the staff constantly hurras people. And the ones that are normal are incompetent at best. I just now had a worker pour out my just finished coffee to fix the machine, in front of me.
Atmosphere- neither of my previous facts facilitated any welcome atmosphere.

It’s one of GMU’s cafeterias. The food was okay. Just enough flavor to accommodate everyone’s taste buds I guess. The place is nice. Good selections. Pizza, burgers, sandwiches, vegetarians, fruit and salad bar, ice cream, variety of beverages, dessert bars, and more. If you’re a student here, will you enjoy dining here every day? Though, I think most of the foods here are just fillers for growing young adults, they have everything kids are craving for most of the time. If they get tired of this place, the good thing is that they have other dining halls to go to. If nothing else, there’s always the fruit and salad bar to reset their taste buds. The best thing here is the service with a smile even if they were busy.

There aren’t a lot of food items. And the quality is not good either. Just the ice cream is good there. The pizza is always burned and not fluffy. The fries are just too salty to eat. Also, there aren’t a lot of vegetarian options available.

Wow! We didn’t have college food like that back in the day! Delicious options for those with food allergies.

Lots of different choices. Cafeteria style but much more open, you don’t wait in a line but can go to two or so different counters for different kids of foods. Also, they did a fine job preventing cross-contamination for their gluten-free options. Lots of healthy choices, but they also have pizza and ice cream. Very good value.
