A staple of the St. Albans community since the late 19th century, historic Head’s Store offers indoor and outdoor dining, snacks and beverages for on-the-go, and carryout meals. All Aboard! for a new dining experience at historic Head’s Store in the heart of St. Albans. Inspired by the Rock Island Rocket locomotives whose passengers would embark and disembark just steps from here, our menu pays homage to the 4,000 miles the rail system traveled throughout the Midwest and as far as California, New Mexico and Texas.

Charming place to have lunch. Sandwiches were excellent! I had the French dip with homemade potato chips and my husband had the chicken Caesar wrap. We ate outside and it was delightful. Our server Noah was wonderful.
