My husband and I came here after we visited Carter Lake. It is your typical biker bar. It was extremely busy because of Labor day weekend; but still a place to sit. Darlene, seems like an absolute handful amd rude but, the male bar-back was so nice and helpful even though he was overwhelmed.
Unfortunately, i sat in front of the kitchen, the bucket of pre cooked chicken or fish was absolutely disgusting, the fly tape everywhere and flies was nauseating and then a male employee struggling to open a huge jar of cheap pickles and putting his bare fingers in the jar and eat it made me NEVER want to eat here again or trust any restaurant in the future. Also, I ordered the fish and chips and the restuarant couldn’t even microwave or whatever they used to cook long enough and the fish was still translucent and gummy.
The food is great if you’re wasted.

Came in on the weekend with the family. There were a lot of bikers in the bar – which is to be expected. That is the main clientele. But it felt like we were pretty much ignored. It took forever just to get our orders taken. The person that brought the food and drinks out was never the person that took the order so they would always just set everything on the table and apologize for not knowing who it went to. Two of the three burgers were ordered Medium-Well and were still bleeding.
It may haveb been a bad day for staffing or something but it was a pretty lousy(and overpriced) experience.

Ordered the Road King burger but received a brisket burger instead. I already took a big bite before realizing but it was still good so I just kept chowing down. Atmosphere is good and the scenery is great being next to Carter Lake.

We’re so happy to have Windjammer back with BBQ! The atmosphere is excellent, with great views and cold beer. I had the pulled pork and brisket. Both were delicious and juicy. It was an enormous amount of food for $19! They were very busy, but Brooke was super sweet and efficient. We can’t wait to come back! 🙂

The place is a welcoming roadhouse bar experience, and a blue collar fun atmosphere. The staff are a fun bunch and appear to enjoy working there. The food is great! If you like smoked meats, eat here, you won’t be disappointed no matter what you order. It’s also a hang out for some of the friendly local folks!

Went here for my fianceé’s birthday. Everyone involved was so accommodating. Clayton was incredibly helpful of us bringing in 15+people. Taylor and Darlene were off the charts helpful and helped us with group photos. Thank you all so much!! Their cook was awesome as well, sorry never caught his name, food was all excellent. I recommend brisket and okra. See you this summer.

Stop in and have a Cuervo and a long neck Bud. Burgers from a grill, a jukebox, ample parking, perfect place to meet up with or make friends. A very biker-friendly joint that you can take the family to as well.
