I regularly eat there and I haven’t been disappointed. Great service, friendly waiters eventhough it is usually full. I knocked one star off because it is on the pricy side and the sashimi positions are relatively smaller than what you would get in a major city. Overall though it is the best sushi you can get in Lübeck by far and I tried them all over a period of 9 years.

Nothing special. Average quality but very small pieces. The atmosphere is closer to Chinese restaurant than Japanese, old fashion. Standard prices but maybe too expansive for the size, good service.

I had Udon and Sashimi.
The Udon was cut in bits, i was later told they do that as the locals eat udon with a spoon.
Fair enough, but it was clear from the start that I can use chop sticks. Ok, you are not observant, not to be faulted.
I did not feel there was any service, you are asked what you want to order and after that you sit and wait at the counter till your food is ready and brought to you. No smile no nothing. The people are just engross in their tasks.
The food was nothing to write home about, and the price did not help make the evening any sweeter.
No credit cards accepted here, so have your cash ready.
