India hut is seriously so delicious and fresh! If you’re near Broadripple and craving Indian, absolutely the way to go. You won’t be disappointed! Very family friendly. The family who run it are so sweet. My friends and I went over the weekend and I went again tonight with a different person. The male owner, Joe, remembered my order and our whole conversation. He said he’s very willing to accommodate requests as well. The daughters greeted us and got us menus. It was a very wholesome and delicious experience both times!

Food presentation is wonderful and very tasty! Joe and his wife are the owners and their hospitality makes you feel like you’re family. Love the chicken tikka masala with options for spice level. And my husband is a fan of the tender lamb curry!

Most delightful Indian I’ve had in the United States. I drive tour busses for famous musician and have traveled more than your average traveler. This food was amazing!

The food here is amazing. It’s so good that I want to lick the bowl clean at the end! So much is made in house.
I always get the chicken shahi korma! I got the mango lassi for the first time and it was so very good. I also got the Hut Special Bread which is a very good naan! I was with a group of six people and everyone loved everything they got. Our service was amazing and the couple who runs the restaurant are the sweetest people. They also gave us two rice puddings on the house to share and those were also delicious. That was so kind of them!
My only recommendation would be to not have the volume on the TV on. That was a bit distracting and took away from the ambience.
We will definitely be back!

If you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine that tastes like it came straight from someone’s home kitchen, look no further. This family-owned restaurant is truly a hidden gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the kind of warmth and hospitality that makes you feel like part of the family.

The aroma alone is enough to make your mouth water, rich spices, freshly baked naan, and creamy curries that hit all the right notes. Every dish is clearly made with love and tradition. The butter chicken is velvety perfection and the samosas? Crispy, golden, and absolutely irresistible.

What really sets this place apart, though, is the care and kindness of the staff. They take the time to explain the menu, make personalized recommendations, and ensure you’re enjoying every single bite. You can tell this isn’t just a restaurant to them, it’s a labor of love.

Whether you’re dining in with family, grabbing takeout after a long day, or introducing someone to Indian food for the first time, this place never disappoints. Comforting, flavorful, and made from the heart, this is the kind of restaurant that reminds you why family-owned spots are always the best finds. ❤️

The food was superb!! The mango lassi was the best one I’ve ever had, very smooth and delicious. The garlic naan is the best I’ve ever had too. The chicken tikka masala and chicken makhani were both scrumptious, went very well with the rice they provide with them. They gave generous portions of everything, and it was all so good. The atmosphere was very cozy! I will definitely go again to try more!

We got the chicken tikka masala and shrimp curry with plain rice included. For drinks we got mango lassi and mango juice, over all the food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. Will be coming back.

Little place with a big sign out front. Understated but nice semi formal decor, natural light, clean space. Everything we ordered was excellent, the tandoori chicken fritters and sauce, garlic naan, chicken biriyani, and lamb karahi, all great. Our server, who I believe was also the manager, was very friendly and talked about the specifics of the recipes with us. An easy 5 stars, and in my opinion the best Indian in Broad Ripple.

We went to grab dinner before going to a concert Saturday night and decided on Indian food. Everyone was patient as we were waiting for people to arrive. Everything we got looked and tasted great! We all got some Garlic Naan, Paneer Naan, and Roti to go with our meal. I got the Palaak Paneer which was the perfect amount of spicy. I ended my meal with Kheer which was a nice treat. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The food did not sit heavy at all at the concert. The family there was great and it’s always best to go to a local business in Broad Ripple.

I usually default to chicken tikka masala or a curry, but I wanted to try something new. The gentleman who served us (maybe the owner?) recommended the Chicken Shahi Korma and it was so delicious! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Shrimp Biryani. We also ordered Mixed Vegetables and garlic naan to share. Both very good.

Oh, we ordered the Hut Special Bread (now referred to as “crack bread” bc it’s so good ). We got it as an appetizer and I 100% recommend it.

We have leftovers for tomorrow so… win.
