I took my kid in on Friday. It was his first time going and he had an amazing first two weeks of school so I thought heck yes let’s get you this ice cream. He was very excited and was stimming. The amazing cashier( I wish I remembered her name) let us take a moment so he could stim. That meant the world to me. The food came out quick and she was kind enough to bring it to us while we were getting his drink. A small ice cream in a bowl , small fry and drink. She even asked if I wanted a bowl to which amazing call cause I almost forgot he doesn’t eat the cones. He ready to go back again cause it’s now his favorite place when tho it was a short moment

We ate at the Dairy Queen on Apple St. in Boise on 1/5/25 @5:30 pm. The young lady that helped us at the drive through was fabulous. She was friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. I am allergic to milk and she was able to steer me toward milk free options. She even read the ingredients on the fry sauce. We will definitely be back. Thank you to the young lady!

What a disappointment, Dairy queen used to be awesome. Came to this location and not only did we have to wait for 20 minutes in the drive thru, but we asked for gravy with the chicken, and extra gravy. They did not put any gravy in the box. Went inside to get the gravy, nd they said “oh, we dont have gravy today.” They couldn’t tell us that in the drive thru!?!? He said it would take 15 minutes to make the gravy and acted like that was somehow the end of the world. We were there at 7:50 if you wanted to check the cameras. Refused to give me a receipt so I have no way of leaving a review.

Employees are kind and quick. But I would rather have my order made right than out instantly. I get window times are important but I can’t recall a single time where my order was filled accurately or I was missing something I requested on a burger. The ice cream is usually done right but sometimes there are pitfalls. My food box wasn’t marked either which isn’t a necessity but id imagine it’s a requirement, might help with the missing toppings.

TL;DR: Frequent visits to this Dairy Queen have been disappointing due to repeated incorrect orders (missing items, wrong sauce) and long wait times—even for simple meals. Staff is kind, but service quality is consistently poor.
I have been to this Dairy Queen multiple times as it is close and on my way home from work. However, I am very disappointed in the quality of the service. While the staff is nice and kind they often take my order wrong. I will ask for Buffalo sauce and not ranch in a 6 piece chicken strip basket but walk away with 3 chicken strips, ranch, and no toast.I don’t often open the box until I get home to eat so I can’t get it fixed in the moment.
If I don’t get a bad order the order takes longer. I have dined in and ordered a simple burger with a blizzard but took over 15 minutes to get my order. Other people had come in and gotten their order before me.

It’s been a few, well its been awhile since we ordered. Long enough to where I forgot what I ordered while the cars in the drive thru kept goin by. 3 times asking they said they are working on it. Blizzard is done, I am done with dessert, guess I dont need the food.
