I tried Main Bird Hot Chicken after driving by it for a long time without stopping. It was really good. The seasoning was super good and off the charts even though we only chose the low heat. Its a drier seasoning powder than other hot chickens but I liked it. The waffle fries upgrade for a dollar is probably the single best upgrade I have ever paid for. They were phenomenal not even kidding. The chicken was big and fried well with thick pickle slices on top that added some tang. There was Texas toast. The ranch was really good.
The place has neon signs and a casual vibe like a food hall. Portions were decent for the price and food came hot. I will definitely be back.

Our first time visiting Main Bird and the food was great. Ordered the Dirty Mac (Hot) and my wife ordered the Wrap Combo (extra Hot). Neither were too hot and we both enjoyed the flavor.
What I didn’t realize was that it’s inside a building with two other restaurants sharing a lobby space. So it’s perfect if you want the chicken but have others in your group that want burgers or tacos. My kids are picky eaters so this place will be great since there is something for everyone.

Been waiting to come here for some time now. Last week, I was working and more employees showed up and I didn’t want to be rude and eat in front of them. So, I went out for lunch and went here. I didn’t realize all three restaurants were made together. But I came here for main bird, I was gonna order from main bird. I ordered the main bird combo that didn’t come with a drink. Had to order my drink separately. I got the fresh Lemonade, great taste, but came in a small cup. I like the taste of the chicken and come here for some spice. I got the “hot” leveled chicken. But between the drinkless combo and the Lemonade drink. I spent almost 30 dollars and that Lemonade came with no refills. I had to spent more money on another drink, so I can have something to drink with my meal. I like this place, just come down on the prices!!

Rodrick went above and beyond by providing us excellent service, he recommended the frosted lemonade (which was amazing!), he brought out our food promptly and with an amazing smile. He was kind and provided us with everything we kept asking for! I will definitely be back to see Rodrick’s friendly face and to enjoy more delicious hot chicken.

The Katy Food Hall is usually packed, so I had to time my arrival just right. I sampled the “Cluck it” seasoning and it was too much, so I ordered the Extra Hot tenders combo. The fries were freshly made and the right combination of crispy and soft. The tenders were good, just not amazing. The extra hot had an acceptable amount of heat which made me think that I could have handled the Cluck It. Maybe next time. I’ll be back.
