Let’s just say it’s not all hype, definitely one of the best bbq in town. Portions are good, just know that you’re going to be paying more than you’d expect but really for this quality it’s worth it. I wouldn’t say it’s like a weekly thing but maybe once or twice a month treat. Everything we got was over 80$ trip tip and sausages were the best

I have heard about this place for over a year now. This is the type of barbeque that hits you from the parking lot. Walking past the off-set smokers in the parking lot, catching a whiff of the coastal oak…we couldn’t wait to get in line. For me, barbeque starts with “the sides” and MEGA nails it! The “Golden potatoes salad” had a creamy smoothness. The “Mac & cheese” was silky and hearty. The “chili beans with brisket”….oh my! Killed it…absolutely nailed it. We went on a Thursday during lunch hour, and they were almost sold out of brisket.(I would have cried)
The meat? Unquestionably the best in the central valley. Go early.

Tough review. Although food can be good most of the time i think it gets a little overhyped. They opened the doors today after 11 because they said they were getting a lot of online orders to process while everyone that showed up in person to support froze outside in the fog. Got thur at 10:25 and waited in line for just over an hour to place my order. Kept it simple and just got the twinkies and a sausage link and sum sides. Ive tried most of everything else before and it is good but to me they have to big of a menu now that other items suffer. Wanted to try the brisket fried rice they had posted but was told she forgot to take it off the menu board. They called my name and before I got to get up to grab it they took it to someone else’s table and that person knew it wasn’t thur food but quickly started eating it. I went to the counter and told them they called my name but saw them hand my food to someone else. They said sorry they had the same name as me but never even asked them what they ordered just told me they’ll make my plate again. Frustrated and pissed the couple got a free plate of food they didn’t order and knew it. Seemed like too many workers thur and mass confusion behind the counter. They need to have a online pick up area instead of people crowding the counter. Been supporting this place since the gas station days on fresno and mckinley but seems thur just trying to do to much. Twinkies were good but brisket was dry inside. Sausage was great and had a good snap to them. Mac and cheese was ok but needed a little more seasoning or sumthing. That crumble they put on top of it was sometimes hard and felt like chewing on plastic. Cornbread was good and really moist. Parking lot is tiny and neighborhood is sketch. Construction on roads surrounding doesn’t help.

Parking is tough. The neighborhood is rough. The BBQ is worth it! I can’t believe I just learned about this place! The brisket, both times, was so tender! The beans and mac were perfect sides! The staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean and seating is limited. It’s worth the wait!

Great BBQ! Had the 2 Meat Plate with Brisquet and Burnt Ends — each of them were delicious! Both the Sweet and Spicy sauces tasted great too! Good cole slaw, good chili beans, and we added their Cornbread. Decor is just right for BBQ lunch. The workers seemed to enjoy being there — for sure, all of the customers certainly were enjoying their food!
Only issue is lack of parking. It wasn’t apparent whether the business next door allowed parking in the back part of their lot. We took a chance there and felt fortunate to not get towed. I guess it was a lucky day for parking, but especially for sampling this BBQ!

This! This is how BBQ should be done. I’ve had my fair share of underwhelming experiences in the area, so when a friend recommended this spot and showed me the viral videos, I had to check it out. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint!
I ordered the two meat plate with brisket and tri-tip, along with rice pilaf and potato salad. Everything was spot on. The meat was incredibly tender, packed with that rich, smoky flavor you expect from true Texas style BBQ. I also appreciate that they don’t overdo or experiment with the seasoning, letting the quality of the meat and smoke shine through.
The sides tasted homemade and brought the plate together perfectly. My only regret.. Being human and not having the stomach to try everything on the menu. I’ll definitely be back, and this is now my go to recommendation for anyone looking for legit BBQ in the area!

Loved every bite of my plate which was the Mega 50 plate in honor of Anthony’s Birthday! The bbq was sooo delishhh & so tender I also enjoyed the sides which were the Mac n cheese,honey butter corn bread & potato salad The wife of the Owner was so pleasant to speak w @ the cash register. I will definitely be coming back. No pics because we killed it before I could take pics ‍♀️

I really wish I could say this place is not good and tell people not to come, but I can’t, yes its long waits in line to order, but after tasting it I was like wow it makes since. It’s worth the wait. To be honest I haven’t has real texas bbq in years and this is as good or better than bbq in texas, smoked to perfection. got my brisket extra moist, dam no words to describe it, orgasmic lol. the texas twinkies fire, and the Chile Verde ribs should be on their menu everyday, very tinder fall of the bone with the smoky flavored Chile Verde is something else. Wanted to try the pork belly but they sold out a few minutes before i made it to the counter. But please don’t go lol so I don’t have to wait in line lol

Got there around 10:40 and there was already about 5 people in front of me. From the time I got to the counter to order, the line went out the door, so get there as early as you can. I got the Tri-tip sandwich with a side of green Chile mac and cheese and 2 orders of the Texas twinkies. One word; FIRE !! Definitely worth the wait (about 20 minutes from placing the order to getting my food). A little pricy, but bbq is an art and they executed it perfectly. . I definitely came back the next day and got the same thing. Don’t forget the self-serve bbq sauce on the side!
