My bestie and I tried this place after I was searching for a place serving brightleaf hotdogs with chili. I moved away from NC over 30 years ago so when I visit, I want brightleaf! The hotdogs are boiled and steamed JUST LIKE I LOVE THEM! The chili sauce is perfect! I also ordered a hamburger and my bestie ordered a bacon double; both burgers were juicy, tasty, and made to perfection!!!! They don’t serve fries but they do have chips, ice cream, specialty coffee, homemade milkshakes, hoop cheese sticks, different breads, a variety of drinks (tasty lemonade) amongst other things.
The seating is outdoors; a bench style picnic area. I enjoyed it. It was a little windy with lower temperatures that day so a heated lamp would have been awesome but it wasn’t too bad and the food definitely made up for it.
The customer service is pretty awesome as well. I will be returning! It was a first visit for both my bestie and I; we both look forward to returning!

This is more than Dawgs, go when they have bar b que plates! I love the gots dogs too, just sometimes you need a change. There is not seating on the inside but a covered patio with a few picnic tables. Do not forget the ice cream.

Do not go through the drive thru. It will take you on average 7 minutes per car. If there’s 4 cars in the line you’re going to be waiting at least a half hour. They need to adopt a new system, possibly where someone is walking the drive thru line taking multiple orders so they don’t have to wait to start each order individually. Very poor management call. Food is good, people are nice, just not a great system.

We were there on Saturday and it was our 2nd time in the last month or so. The food does not disappoint and the prices are incredible. If you’re looking for top notch dogs and tasty burgers , this is your place!! We’ll be back for sure!

I was visiting the area and stopped by because I like to try small businesses. I ordered two surprises. I just wanted to try two hotdogs because I was not familiar with the menu. I was not disappointed it with the flavor. I forgot to take a picture of the first one, but I took a picture of this one. Not sure what was in it but it was super delicious. The service was also amazing. Thanks for a good experience. I will definitely come back and bring the family! To the ladies there, you all rock!

The food was amazing and I love the outdoor seating. Only place I have been able to find dippin’ dots as well so that is a huge boon for the Dawg House. I would come back here for the dippin’ dots alone. The cheeseburger is delicious, very well made and many options for toppings and condiments. During the time that I went, lots of cars were in the drive through and it seemed to be moving quite quickly. Going inside to order and wait is most definitely faster I would say. The drink and chips options were pretty good as well, lots of variety. Many different flavors of dippin’ dots as well. The price for everything is quite fair, very good value. Will be coming back to try out the rest of the menu for sure.
