We stopped here for a lunch not expecting anything, but after our amazing lunch, we decided to come back again for a full dinner. Again, it didn’t disappoint us.
Everything was incredible, and our favorites are the beef tartare, beef carpaccios, escargots, lamb racks and the duck confits. Oh, the award winning soufflé is a must-try!
We ordered the French Onion Soup to start. It was cheesy and chunky and hearty and everything you could want. They had a hanger steak on special that I jumped all over. It was doused in shallots and was delicious. And if you want something really cool for dessert, order the crepes suzette. Prepared table side, it’s a fun way to end the evening
I can’t say enough about the level of service. Our server was great, I wish I remembered his name. Everyone was great. I don’t think a single glass of water ever got to more than half empty before it was promptly, and discreetly, filled again
This is fine dining done in an approachable way. Not everyone will be able to come here weekly, or regularly, but again for special occasions, or to impress, you won’t go wrong here
The ambiance strikes the perfect balance: the bar area buzzes with lively energy, while the dining space provides an intimate, elegant atmosphere, ideal for a romantic evening or a business dinner.
We also absolutely loved the hospitality! The wine pours are generous and the manager, Xavier, graciously came to our table to personally welcome us. Our waitress, Julissa, was a delight, bubbly, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive throughout the meal. Their warmth and professionalism truly elevated the dining experience.
For the first time in 8 years of living in the USA, we tried such a delicious beef tartare. Everything was just incredible, a great atmosphere in the French style.
The Boar bourguignon was excellent, surprisingly tender and moist for game. The only disappointment was dessert, overcooked tarte tatin was more like apple sauce. But everything else, especially the service was great.
Dover Sole
While the Dover sole was anticipated with excitement, its presentation fell short of expectations. The plating was poorly executed, and the dish itself was excessively seasoned, which detracted from its natural flavor.
Beef Pot Pie
The beef pot pie, unfortunately, lacked flavor. To improve the dish, we requested some butter from the server. Once added, the pot pie became much more enjoyable, significantly enhancing the overall taste.
Our intention was to have a memorable dining experience that would inspire us to return and make this a favorite place to dine. While there were some disappointments with the main dishes, the excellent service and pastry chef’s skill stood out during our visit.
