The experience was amazing, the eating area is clean and welcoming. The photos and memorabilia draw you into the restaurants rich history. The staff are very friendly and warming. I ordered the famous “Pookie” burger with Cajun fries and I would get it again easily.

I saw the “OPEN” sign and stopped in on my way down Highway 62 for a bite to eat. It was awesome! Met the owners, Richard and Dana. They are awesome folks! Everything is homemade. Dana’s mom helps them out and is an amazing chef. Had the “Pookie” cheeseburger (because it was Dana’s favorite) but struggled with the decision because Richard almost sold me on the Chicken Fried Steak sandwich (next time Richard!)! Wonderful family friendly place! The prices are very reasonable too. You won’t be disappointed!

I didn’t get a chance to eat, but my companions. Overall, everyone seemed pleased. The person that ordered a rib sandwich was the happiest. 4 tender juicy ribs graced a piece of bread. The brisket sandwich with fries order took a bit of time to come out and the fries were stone cold. The manager promptly switched them out for fresh hot ones. The atmosphere has a natural modern twist and is well done. There is plenty of indoor seating in what looks like a historic building. Pictures and newspaper clippings tell the history of the town of Boley. I didn’t see posted hours but I am guessing all the locals know when appears to be a black-owned family restaurant is serving up some homestyle good plates!

From the outside I wasn’t sure that this was a restaurant but once I got in there and I ate the food it was awesome. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The sign on the front door describes them perfectly. If you’re looking for fast food keep on going because they make their food to order. Trust me it’s worth the wait.

Used to stop in here when I was running windmill parts from Houston to Illinois. Friendly owners, excellent breakfast, and one of the best bacon cheeseburgers I’ve ever had. It’s on the middle of nowhere but it’s definitely worth the stop.

Its black owned and you can tell by the flavor explosion that happens on your taste buds, i love the fish and chips, the burgers is flame as well they have a decent list of item for a small restaurant and the staff plus the service is damn near family feeling wonderful place to eat
