I don’t eat desserts very often, but this week I was in the mood for ice cream and found this place on google maps. I stopped in and what a delight. This place was very clean, the staff was very young but hard working. My ice cream bowl was amazing! It was PERFECT actually if you’re a chocolate or peanut butter fan. I’d highly recommend this local chain of ice cream stores. You won’t regret it!

Okay, maybe a little high on the price, but it is Chicago area. Price vs. quality is acceptable for me. Friendly service. Very patient as we worked through possibilities. We had this place mapped out for our vacation and it did not disappoint. Would definitely return. Exceptionally clean, and that is important for an ice cream place.

After having a bad meal at Rock Bottom Brewery I had to improve my night. Only one way to do this. A visit to Oberweis for some fantastic ice cream. No way would anyone ever not be please with a very nice creamy flavorful ice cream creation. Its absolutely perfect.

Awful service and even worse ice cream I got a Banana Royale and wanted no nuts and no pineapple chunks. It was sloppily made (probably because the large gathering of teens hanging around and behind the counter distracting their buddies who work there). Missing ingredients (no cool whip or cherry) and a half a banana butchered to hell to appear like more AND I got charged extra for NO pecans. Who tacks on money for an item you dont want?? I didn’t sub that, when I inquired the cashier on the charge he said oh man I don’t know it’s what the computer does. Disappointed in the service but that seems to be the normal there anymore.

Mint chocolate chip ice cream in a waffle cup dipped in chocolate and sprinkles is the most delicious part of each visit I have here. My husband had the peanut butter sundae and he said it was to die for! Can’t wait to go again!

Stopped by Overview Ice Cream recently — the vibe was nice and the staff were pretty friendly. When it came time to pick up my order, they asked for the name, and I told them mine… but turns out someone else had the same name! Bit of a mix-up moment. In the end, they labeled the order as “Hi” instead, which honestly made me laugh a little. Ice cream was solid, no complaints there. Would go again — maybe next time I’ll use a more unique name like “Captain Sprinkle” just to be safe

service was quick and food came out fast! worker Jessica Cagney was extremely helpful and both took and made my order – a vanilla milkshake with 6 cherries. My order was made perfectly, with exactly six cherries. this place is definitely a favorite for after events, as it is open so late. Jose, another worker, served my friends with a positive attitude, making the environment in the store increase greatly!

We have been coming to this Oberweis for over a year and I have never had such bad service and it’s not the staff it’s by the Manager who is eager to go home. We normally order almost the same flavors without tasting or any of that. Tonight my kids were offered by the nice cashier who heard my son talking about the new flavor he saw. So my 2 kids tried 3 samples each and they were about to order for themselves when the manager rudely told the cashier NO MORE SAMPLES. that really put a damp on my evening and I rushed the rest of order. She ( the manager) came to ring me and I asked nicely that what she said wasn’t necessary and not welcoming. She replied whatever and she to close in five minutes I told her I was going to report this and she said go ahead. The customer service went to ZERO STAR all because of the leader in this location. I don’t need to spend my money at a place that hires rude managers.
