A friend picked up some burritos for us at La Azteca. The Chili Verde burrito was delicious. My friends all had different types — shredded beef, chicken…all were delicious. Worth visiting. I’ll be back next time I’m in Petaluma.

Their food is good no vegan options available unless you specify you don’t want cheese or cream on your food I come here because it’s close and the food is good the prices have gone up quiet a bit since COVID but the limited supply is artificially created by the government to benefit large corporations and smaller businesses get screwed so it’s understandable that their prices are up. The pictures of the menu I posted are current 2/3/24 so don’t believe the others because they are out of date and the prices are wrong

Good place for a nice Mexican meal.
Liked the tender crispy crunch of the tortilla chips.
Had the Jalisco enchilada platter, combo platter w/ Chile rellanos, tamale and enchilada, with dessert of apple burrito.

If there is a rating lower than 5 starts, I would. Here are the reasons:
1. Steak pieces had bones, cartilage, tasted like they have been cooked for over 3 months.
2. Pricey: Flan cost $4.50 for a container that is 2″ wide by 3″ high. (See picture. (Are you kidding me?)
3. We ordered cheese, pico de gallo, and lettuce in side the burrito and were charged $4.00. None came inside. WOW!!! 🙁
4. Rice tasted like it has been cooked for a week, let stand in the pot then served. Terrible.
5. After eating the most EXPENSIVE freaking burrito, it left a terrible taste the next day in my tongue. That is an indication that none of the ingredients were fresh and they are old.
Please please. Don’t eat there. This is NOT recommended piece of sh…food.

My neighbors growing up founded this restaurant, and I am happy to say the tradition continues today. Food has always been solid and staff are very nice. Dine in or takeaway, you will be happy.
