Trattoria is such a treat! From start to finish, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The Shirley Temples were perfectly sweet and bubbly — the ideal start to our meal. The French onion soup was divine — rich, flavorful, and comforting in every bite.
Then came the nachos, which were nothing short of immaculate — perfectly crisp with just the right amount of cheese and toppings. For dessert, the tiramisu was exquisite, it had the perfect balance of sweetness, to fluffiness, to espresso and was simply incredible! The cheesecake was beyond airy and light — it practically melted in my mouth!
Everything tasted so fresh and was beautifully presented. You can tell the kitchen puts real love and care into every dish. Trattoria is the kind of place that makes you excited to come back again and again — a true kosher Italian gem! ✨
Cons first (there was only 1…)
The doritos (for the guacamole and the nachos) was a bit soggy and dry.
Pros:
Food was great, fresh and tasted good. Place got full at some point so make sure to make a reservation, all in all great place for a night out in a kosher environment and a great atmosphere, owner was there and was very active around the restaurant , he is a sweet nice guy who came to each table and had a small talk. Highly recommended.
We ordered lots of stuff. The Shitaki Rigatoni was the fan favourite. They do a great job on the French onion soup, as you would expect from a fine French establishment. I would stay away from the Gnocchi. The pizza was unique and definitely worth a try.
We opted for the Ramon Cordova Rioja, it pairs well with pizza and pasta. That would be my only recommendation from the wine menu.
It is a bit overpriced, which is why I am giving it four stars, but the food is really good and I wish the service was a little better.
Here’s my full recommendation
Apps: Artichoke Dip, Nachos
Soup: French Onion Soup
Entree: Shitaki Rigatoni and any of the pizzas
Wine: Ramon Cordova Rioja
Dessert: Crème Boule or Chocolate Lava
The desserts are really something special. You can really taste the butter in the Chocolate Lava Cake.
